Is there a value season for Cruises like there is at Disney World. Also what is the hurricane season?

I do not know of any particular 'value' season with the Cruises... But, certain seasons are cheaper... Spring (Except for Spring Break) and Fall are the cheapest... Summer, and ANY holiday are very very high seasons.........

Go to a site like Travelocity, and pull up the type of cruise you are interested in, and it will list all dates with pricing, right there on the one page. So easy to see what is offered.

Also, the way to get a good a rate on Disney Cruises is to BOOK EARLY!! They almost always go up considerably in price as the cruise date gets nearer. Not the other way around.... The four night cruise and category that we booked last year, is now like $200.00 per adult higher right now. So, plan as far ahead as possible.

Hurricane season is officially something like July - October or November. (I am not the expert......) That is a huge chunk out of the year to just write off. The ships are expert at avoiding any Hurricane activity. I had one friend cruise during a hurricane a couple years ago, and they never saw a drop of rain! And, you will probably find that some of the lowest rates out there are During Sept.

Hope this helps!

We are DVC Members and choose Aug. 23-30, 2003 because it was listed as value season in our DVC Members book. Not sure how that works with cash prices though.

In our DVC Members book the following dates were listed as 2003 value season for the 7 Day Eastern: 1/11, 1/25, 2/8, 5/3, 5/17, 8/23, 9/6, 10/4, 10/18, 11/1, 11/15, 11/29, 12/13.

2003 value season 7 Day Western: 1/4, 1/18, 2/1, 4/26, 5/10, 8/30, 9/27, 10/11, 10/25, 11/8, 12/6.

Hope this helps.
