Is there a summer discount?

I have someone on the phone named Renee who is so lost and confused! In your opinion is the Website accurate? For example, when I do a search the standard room is not available for CBR, where we are currently booked. If I call in do they have access to more rooms or should I just go with what the website tells me? This call is painful!

I didn't call at all because I was able to re-book the same room level/view I already had.

Where did you book? I am seeing that the summer special would cost us MORE on 7/31 at CBR!

I saw a TA on another board mention that if a guest had booked their summer vacation package a few months ago, this deal might actually cost them *more* than their original reservation because of a recent price increase in packages. She was telling people to do the math before automatically trying to book the same room at the new promotional price. It's definitely not a good deal for some people.

I was able to upgrade my resort to a deluxe for only $400 more than I was paying for a moderate. If I used the discount available for the moderate it would of saved me $100, so I jumped at the chance to stay at a deluxe for under $300 a night! Yatch Club here we come!

Apparently the Poly is very popular this summer now that the renovations are completing ... the cast member I just spoke with on the phone said Guest Services confirmed that this discount is basically to fill up arrival dates with low bookings and they have all they need for Poly Standard Garden View for most Tuesdays already. I would imagine bookings are up for the whole resort since the discounts are only 15% for Poly

They usually only see what is on the website. They don't usually have anything different.

So we were originally staying at WLV, but since there was no availabilty at this resort I switched to the Boardwalk with this % off and saved $1,300 !!!!! YEAH!!!

I currently have the spring discount package, booked before the ticket increase. My dates fall within the summer discounts. Every way I try the new packages it come out about $150 more than I'm currently paying.

I thought Disney Visa cardholders were supposed to get the offers first?!?!

In the past, a little less than half the offers have had a Disney Visa exclusive booking period. You can't count on it.
