Hi, I called my AAA agent when I saw the general public codes since we will be at the BC for 3 nights duriing the promo. She called Disney and said that they didn't have any standard rooms left at the discount rate but they could give us a studio in the "green" section. Apparently the standard rooms are in the blue section. I have tried looking on the Dis and other web sites but I am really confused. Does anyone know what type of room this is and where it would be located? I don't want to be far from the pool etc. with my 3 kiddos. If I move it will save $200 which I think is a decent savings. Thanks for any help or advice!

I do know it has more kitchen amenities and it could have 2 Queens or 1 Queen and a pullout -- is it big enough for 5 of us?

The studios are located in the Beach Club Villas. Right next door to the Beach Club, shares amenities (pools, dining, etc.) with the BC. I believe the BCV are a bit closer to Epcot; not sure about the distance to SAB, but there's a quiet pool right at the Villas.

I beleive they are offering you a studio at the Beach Club Villas, the Disney Vacation Club lodgings adjacent to the Beach Club Hotel. It is in a separate building to the side of the Beach Club. They are beautiful, but I think they only sleep 4. Is one of yours under 3? They do have a pack n play.
You would have a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and sink etc. You share the amenities of the YC/BC including the restaurants and the pool.
You will be a little further from Stormalong Bay, but their is a quiet pool right at the entrance to the villas. Stormalong Bay is just a short walk either outside on the pathway or inside through the lobby of the main hotel.
I think the couch is a double size pull out, but that should be fine for 2 little ones to share.
The BCV are my favorite place to stay in all of WDW.
For $200 less I would stay here in a heartbeat.

A BCV studio has one queen sized bed and one double sleeper sofa. One of your children will need to be under the age of three to have a family of five in a studio.

Thanks so much for the info, I called back and she did mean the villas. I think I am going to stick with my room mainly due to the fact its closer. We will definetly check out the villas for next time--
