Is there a store that will sell you 2 different size shoes?

DD's feet are clearly two different sizes. She needs new sneakers, I'm willing to pay, but her right foot is a woman's 9 and her left is clearly an 8.5, maybe even an 8. She can walk right out of that right shoe. An going down to a narrow won't work because her feet just aren't. Is there anywhere that will sell 2 different size shoes?

I don't know of any store that will sell two different sizes purposely although I have had that happen accidentally once when buying DD sneakers at Factory Brand Shoes. Maybe you could put an insole of some sort in the one that is too big and that would keep her foot from slipping out? I have had to do that with DDs shoes once but both were too big and I put insoles in both of them but it seemed to work.

I had the same issue when I was growing up and I always used an insole in the shoe for my smaller foot.

I have never heard of a store that sells shoes individually, it's always a pair.

I would try the inner sole idea.

I have heard about services that offer single shoes or different size shoes. There are all sorts of reasons why someone might need one shoe or shoes of different sizes. If you cannot find such a service by searching online, try asking some podiatrists. An experienced fitter at a store that caters to difficult to fit clients and/or amputees may be able to help you with ideas on how to make shoes fit better. I know of such a store near here, but it's a local chain, not nationwide. Our podiatrist told us about it.

Dd's feet were an entire size apart for about two years during puberty. I just had dd stuff cotton balls in the too big shoe till it felt good.

Nordstrom will sell shoes of opposite sizes.

A family friend's daughter was born missing toes and that is where she buys all of her shoes. She's a teenager now so I know they do this for children and adult sizes.
