Is there a show you like from "across the pond"?

I have also watched a show, I cant remember the name, it stared 2 woman who went into homes and cleaned up after them...and they were nasty dirty homes!

How Clean is Your House! w/Kim & Aggie

When my DD was little she had such a fascination with that show. And I watched it when I needed motivation to get up and clean. :)

LOVE it!

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures
Primeval
Survivors
How Clean is your house
Survivors, an end of the world type superflu show, not the american "reality" show

McLeod's Daughters, it is an Austrailian show, I really liked the first 5 seasons, the last 3 where not quite as good.

I love Coupling! The original is soooo much better that the American version that lasted like 2 episodes.

My favourites:

Robin of Sherwood
As time goes by
Monarch of the glen
Hamish McBeth
Chef
Cold feet
The Royal
Eastenders
Heartbeat
Prime suspect (older but still really good)
Doctor Who
Sarah Jane
Torchwood
Tenko (older but really good story about women held by the Japanese during WW2)
Jane Eyre (with Timothy Dalton, really old but really, really good, slow moving though)
Upstairs/Downstairs

Doctor Who Doctor Who Doctor Who!

Netflix did me in on that one. DH is into a lot of British comedies (and truth be told, we are both Monty Python fans to an extent), but I've really only been reeled in by Doctor Who! I saw the first 4 seasons of the rebooted show on Netflix and have caught up on the Matt Smith shows via iTunes. I think Matt Smith is doing a great job!

I like alot of these ones mentioned, and I remember being young and watching the Young Ones on MTV & Loved It! Way before that the Benny Hill Show, my brother was just wee-little when i would watch Benny Hill and one of the first things he said.."I have a lovely bunch of coconuts" :lmao::lmao: I remember my dad thinking it wasnt so funny:lmao:

anyway, there is one on our chiller channel called "AfterLife" I love it!!:lovestruc

It also never hurts both Matt Smith and Andrew Lee-Potts (aka Connor from Primeval and Hatter from Alice) are adorable :happytv:

Doctor Who
Torchwood (Good thing FOX passed on the American version, they would have messed it up)
Top Gear
Coupling (Watched about 10 minutes of the American version, seems everyone else did too, seeing how fast it was canned)
The Office

Some show from Japan that my wife got me into. Can't think of the name right now.

My favourites:

Robin of Sherwood

I was just thinking of that show and couldn't remember if it was a BBC production. I  watching it and had a crush on Jason Connery at the time. Of course, I also liked Michael Prade (sp?) as well.

Btw, don't know if you knew this already, but the actor who played Will Scarlet did the voice of Badger in thie recent incarnation of The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe.

I'm not fond of the new series of Robin Hood and couldn't get into it.

The Thick of It - without doubt the best show ever!
Vicar of Dibley
BlackAdder
Ab Fab
Top Gear
Michael Palins travel series'
Spooks (MI-5)
Graham Norton Show
The Office
Only Fools and Horses
The Royal Family
Jam and Jerusalem (Clatterford in the US)

I loved "Are you being served?" Cracked me up.

My hubby got me hooked "MI-5".
My parents got me hooked on "Torchwood"- I love Capt. Jack :lovestruc

Hi from across the pond:thumbsup2

Have you seen Capt. Jack in Desparate Housewifes?

I believe you are getting X factor in the states soon.

Are you being served.....so funny British Classic

Being from the other side of the pond thought I would tell you what I like from your end:

Desperate housewifes
Criminal Minds
Big Love
Invasion - (got canned)
Oprah - Love her will be sad to see her go
Cant remember what it was called but it was about people looking for holiday homes.
Ellen

thanks
Angie

yes! This season of DW officially solidified Matt as my favorite Doctor!!! He was amazing...omg...the finale (if anyone else has seen it)...SO AWESOME!!!!

Based upon all of the Dr. Who Disers, I gave Dr. Who a try. I know this will upset some of you, but I couldn't even make it through the first episode (the mannequin). OMG, was it ever cheesy. I couldn't take it. I do, however, like How Clean is Your House, Benny Hill, Ab Fab, and Monty Python.i just couldn't get into Dr. Who!

wait...you like benny hill, but couldn't get in to Doctor Who???? :confused3  wow. that blew my mind. I can't stand Benny Hill...I also hate Mr. Bean stuff as well(though Rowan Atkinson in other things not Mr Bean related are fine). We do LOVE Monty Python though.

almost forgot one of the best shows EVER ...

Ashes to Ashes (follow on to Life on Mars)
