Is there a scrapbooking store in DTD?

I agree, Michale's has some great scrapbook items. I also like 2 local stores called Scrapbook Safari & StampFunAddict. Many of their scrapbook supplies are not carried at Michale's. I'm a sucker for the Jolee's Boutique brand dimensional stickers. I can never have too many of those! :thumbsup2

Hopefully they will make a store for us scrapbook junkies! :teeth:

Yes, they should have one. There are just too many scrappers in California not to have one.

And I LOVE your siggy pics!!! :goodvibes

Thank you! I made it last night :goodvibes

I know there is one somewhere, but I don't know if it's in Florida or California.

There is a store in California and it's called Full Of Scrap here is all the info. I've never been there but I plan on going down there to pick up some stuff during my trip to DL in Dec. They even have a web site. Hope this is helpful! :)

Just wanted to add that I went to the Creating Keepsakes scrapbook convention in Bellevue this weekend, and quite a few vendors had Disney stuff: Printed cardstock, border stickers, character stickers, cardstock cut-out tags, beautiful laser-cuts, Jolee's Boutique type embellishments.

There was also a vendor who sold handmade cardstock paper piecings, which I thought were cute. I don't do paper piecing so wouldn't have taken the time to do this myself; I bought sets for Mickey, Minnie, Disneyland (with tags for Tomorrowland, Toontown, and Fantasyland), Splash Mountain, and Winnie the Pooh.

I bought quite a bit, but I already had some stuff at home as well, so I tried to stick to the stuff that I knew I had pictures for and didn't have embellishments yet. (Would have been better if I'd made a list of what I needed beforehand, because some stuff I wasn't sure about, and thus didn't get.)

You can sometimes find more variety online; your local store can only carry so much, so some of the more rare items (perhaps Bugs Life characters, for example) can be found online. I'll definitely do that as I start sorting the photos into pages.

According to the scrapbooking board on the DIS the folkd over there say that the scrapbooking store in Downtown Disney in Florida and there is now scrapbook stuff for the year of a million dreams too. :thumbsup2

What?! WDW has Pal Mickey, room keys that also serve as room charge cards, a Dining Plan that actually saves money, and now a DTD scrapbook store? Who do we have to call to get a scrapbook store at DL???

You can find a ton of Disney related scrap stuff on Ebay. Also Mouse Memories has tons too! I buy from them sometimes. I'm lucky though, my LSS has tons of Disney stuff!

I'm hoping to find some paper. I know there is a ton of Disney paper - just seems like I should be able to find it AT Disneyland, don't you think?

I'll look for the fiber optic album - that will be neat to see, even if I don't do 3-rings (or post-bound, for that matter). Yes, you can call me a CM album snob. But I'm a really nice one, though! :goodvibes

BTW - I'm about to go to a big scrapbooking expo. I've never been to one of those before. I wonder if they'll have Disney paper there!!!

Your best bet is to pick up what you can at the expo. I wasn't impressed with what I saw at Disneyland for paper at all. You'll find a ton of papers and stickers at the expo though. What I did like at Disneyland was purchasing postcards that I could use in my albums because in most cases, those pictures are better than the ones I could take myself.

I've noticed most scrapbook stores (especially the bigger ones) sell quite a bit of Disney scrapbooking materials and I imagine the scrapbook convention you're going to would almost certainly carry some as well!! Happy scrapping! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

I did do some damage at the expo. found lots of great D stuff!

I forgot about getting postcards. I'll have to look for some!

Another good place to look for scrapbook supplies is Walmart. My local Walmart carries some of the disney items and it's actually cheaper than Michale's and some other scrapbook stores I've been to. The selection is limited but they do have a lot of cool stuff. :goodvibes

I didn't get a chance to check my last trip, but didn't DTD have an entire store devoted to Scrapping? It used to be my favorite store Reading, Riting, something like that. It was an awesome bookstore, had tons of music, kinda like a Disney Barnes n Noble. They changed it a few years back to what I remember was a Scrapping Store. Didn't care then, but have since joined the masses of scrappers and was actually looking forward to shopping there next trip. Hmmm. I guess I'll pull out my DTD stuff and look for it.... :confused3

Having said all that my local AC Moore had a huge selection of stuff. I used to shop more at Michaels, but since my Disney Scrapping projects have come along, I have found amazing stuff there. Loose paper, tons of 3 D stickers, kits, embellishments of all types. Even alpha stamps in Pooh and Princess type. Don't know if they are similiar on a national level, but Hamilton NJ sure did me right!

There is a scrapbook store in DTD in Florida, but not in California!

We should start a DIS scrapbook lovers club. We could call ourselves the Scrappy Scrappers! :teeth:

My sister and I have an online scrapbook business that we call "Two Scrappy Sisters"! We went to a trade show recently and people kept stopping us and telling us how much they love the name. ( they could read it off our badges).

In the 'Art of Disney' (i think it is called that), nr Pluto's Candy store in DTD, there is a lot of scrapbooking stuff. We bought some for our nephew last year.
