Is there a scrapbooking store in DTD?

I don't remember an actual store, but I do know they had a lot of scraping stuff at World Of Disney.

Unfortunately there is no store! World of Disney does have a small section of papers and punches that I have not seen in anywhere else. Be sure to check out the new binder for this year (it's a three ring - not a post book), but there are fiber optic fireworks on the front that light up - my son could watch it all day. There are also some 06 binders that I saw only in the store between Space Mountain and Star Tours.

Happy Scraping!

I'm hoping to find some paper. I know there is a ton of Disney paper - just seems like I should be able to find it AT Disneyland, don't you think?

I'll look for the fiber optic album - that will be neat to see, even if I don't do 3-rings (or post-bound, for that matter). Yes, you can call me a CM album snob. But I'm a really nice one, though! :goodvibes

BTW - I'm about to go to a big scrapbooking expo. I've never been to one of those before. I wonder if they'll have Disney paper there!!!

You can find some stuff at World of Disney as well as a few of the stores in Disneyland and DCA. I bought quite a bit at Greeting From California in DCA.

They should put one in DTD!!!

I couldn't find any loose paper at DL. They do sell kits for Princess, Birthday, and two different Disneyland ones. Nothing like the character paper you find at most scrapbook stores. If you find any Buzz paper anywhere let me know!

Ive never seen any scrap booking stuff at disneyland. I just usually go to the local dollar stores as they usually have quite a bit of Disney Scrap Booking stuff. I found that Target also has a nice selection.

They don't carry any of the stuff you find at your LSS. No loose paper, none of those cute EK Success stickers.

They have packages that have paper and stickers in them. They have a birthday one, holiday one, princess one, and a few others. They have several punches like the castle and tinkerbell. They have some mickey eyelets too. They have stickers and albums as well.

World of Disney has a pretty good section for it, enough to do most if not all you could want. Some stores around the park (Like the shop outside space mountain) had some cool books, but I think they had the same ones in world of disney. They don't have many items yet for year of a million dreams and they're still pushing the last of their 50 year stuff out.

That's funny, people keep talking about things they found at the World of Disney store that I never saw! It's a little overwhelming when you're in there, so maybe that's why.

Anyway, I found scrapbooking stuff at the photo shop (camera shop?) at the end of Main St. (near Plaza Inn), and also at the DLH Fantasia gift shop. I'm now kicking myself, because I very nearly bought 2 of the 50th anniversary packets of paper, stickers, alphabet stickers, and frames, but then decided on only one because they were $20 apiece, I think. I have SO MANY photos that 1 packet is not going to cover many pages...

New Rule: If you are really torn about buying something, JUST GET IT! :thumbsup2

I lost all my disney scrapbooking stuff in a fire 4 months ago so I really hope I can find stuff when I'm there next month. :)

That would be cool if they had a scrapbook store in Downtown Disney. I'm a scrapbooking powerhouse! I'm crazy about die-cuts and glue dots! :teeth:

Yes, they should have one. There are just too many scrappers in California not to have one.

And I LOVE your siggy pics!!! :goodvibes

Someone knows about a Michael's or a Jo-Ann's near the park? Down here in Puerto Rico there is no scrapbook stores and I'll have to buy individual papers in one of those stores.

Jo-Anns.com has lots of stuff that our store doesnt carry. And they seem to have sales often. Ive been making my list for a week and it just keeps getting longer, and longer. The other place I found stuff was Ben Franklin (Im not sure if that is everywhere.) Youd think that they would have a store in DTD. I dont think that Im the only one who likes things FROM DL. They could make bank! :teeth:

I found the Mickey Ear scissers($7) and ultra sm ear punch($5) at Paradise Pier hotel gift shop. They also had Mickey,Tink and a few other punches. The scrap packets were $15 each, but only 2 types.Through out the DTD shops I noticed most stores carried the same stuff. But some stores had a slight variation of collectables. I found my fav pins at the hotel shop. Most park and DTD shops were out of them or stopped stocking them.

I bought about 10 pins just for me and I am not even a pin trader!

I never found a store just for us scrappers.
I prebought all my Disney scrap stock at Michaels and JoAnn's.
There are also a lot of online places to buy stickers etc.
