It was probably an accident waiting to happen so Im gald theyve had a rethink and seem to be now letting people through earlier to at least get in the line for Crush.

Can anyone confirm this? Are they doing this now every morning? (Letting people into the waiting lines of the attractions at the Studios?)

They did when we were there both on Sept 17th and Sept 20th.
We rode Nemo both times before 10 am.

Does that mean they not only let guests into the park and into the waiting areas but they also start operating the attraction before 10am?

And there is not waiting in Studio 1 anymore and no pre-show before the studios open?

We were at the WDS gate about 9.30, they checked our bags and after a few minutes the doors opened.
We went straight to Nemo, there was a pre show in Front Lot, with a black cadillac and actors, Chip n Dale were there too signing autographs and Goofy too but we just walked by and started queueing for Nemo (and so did many others) both days.
About 10 mins before 10 am this ride opened, Cars started 10 am precisely - dont know about other rides.

Yes, if you have Extra Magic Hours (you show your hotel ID or your Dream Annual Pass) you get in the park, and in the lands where the rides are open, from 8am.
