Is there a room map for BW?

I have seen other sites that have maps of the hotels with room numbers and views etc. Does anyone know if the BW has that available. This way we can see were the room are (studio, 1 bedroom, etc) and what the views are? Thanks. We are new to DVC and are closing next month and planning our first trip. We usually look at a hotel map and try to figure out where we want to be and request that a few days ahead of arrival. Does this work with the DVC at Boardwalk?

Yes there are floor maps but they are only available for the front desk personnel to use.
I would like to have one myself as it would come in handy, but really it doesn't matter.
Just make your requests known when booking, i.e
BW view, high or low floor, proximity to pool or elevators etc..
Even if you know the room # to tell them it won't help you select that.

They claim they have no maps for guests. They are very strict about not giving these out. I only saw one map for the check in CM's. I think it may have even been embedded into the counter. I asked a few different CM's during different times and always got the same answer. Just tell them the view you want, and tell them to give you a room by the elevators. My room was pretty close and I had a great view of the main pool. I stayed in a studio. I'll give you the room # if you want it. I heard several people walking down the hallway complaining of what a far walk it was to their room. I ment to walk down there to see for myself but never made it.

The different types of rooms are scattered throughout the resort, i.e. there is not an area for studios, an area for 1 bedrooms, etc. So just request the area and floor you want. The standard views are along the front driveway and pond. Preferred views are of the main & quiet pools, Swan/Dolphin and Boardwalk.
