Girlfriend being a real shopping girl, our trip always start with a peak inside the Emporium!
If starting off at DCA, we always seem to get FP for RSR and then head over to Tower of Terror. If starting at Disneyland, we almost always grab a FP for Star Tours and then ride Space Mountain. Then, we grab a FP for Space Mountain and then ride Star Tours with the FP we grabbed earlier. I had a really efficient trip where we had ridden everything in DCA but the Jellyfish and Bug's Land rides by noon. This was during Spring Break 2013.
We are heading to Disneyland for the first time March 1-5, 2015. We love WDW and know it very well. We love making the most of our time in the parks. There are so many more rides in DLR and we only have 2 days for DL and 1 day for DCA. Do you have any advice on what to ride first and getting fast passes etc. I was reading where there are lines for the fast passes and you might be better off going to ride first?? Which doesn't make sense to me especially since the fast pass kiosk is usually right by the ride entrance. We love Test Track our Favorite ride and then Tower of Terror and Space Mt. And Everest But we also love the little rides too! Wish DLR had the people mover so fun and a part of Disney Magic. We are so excited to come DLR since most of the rides seem to be better there and everything is so CLOSE! Love the closeness of everything! We just need a game plan but I don't know where to start? Can you help??
the lines you speak of for FP is a RSR problem. Problem will not exist for other attractions with maybe Space Mountain, but since that machine is a ways from rope drop it is not long, if so , a very short wait.
This thread is info shared by frequent veteran visitors. We have rituals because we have been in the park, seen Disneyland and have now created a rhythm of our own private Disneyland
My observation about your planning is that......are you going to run down the streets just to re-ride a mechanical movement that you felt in WDW??? Are you going to run down Main Street and never return because the rides are more important?
Chances are that you will enter the park onto a rope drop and you will see the historical elements of Main Street. But you will miss the street rides, the music, the characters, the flavor of Marcelline. You will miss Disneyland as a first time visitor.
But if you want to visit the carnival ride elements of the resort, then on one day you turn right at the castle hub and on the next day day turn left, this will maximize your riding/FP use with the exception of Fantasyland. But you will not see Disneyland
No real traditions for DCA, I haven't even been since Carsland opened, so I'm sure RSR will become our new tradition!
First ride for me is always the train, all the way around the park starting at main street station.
You are doing yourself an injustice! Mater's junkyard jamboree & Radiator springs racers are amazing!!![]()
