I posted this question on another thread and it got looked over.
I'd like my oldest son to read a book on this subject. He's almost 10 and he asks me many questions.
I did get a book from the library but it was copyrighted from the 60's!!!!!! Talked about sanitary belts and it was from the 60's style of presentation. It was the library's only book. Yet so many current books for girls.
Any suggestions?

And if youre looking for something with a neutral tone, more scientific-looking, try the Dorling-Kindersly Human Anatomy book. It is written for late elementary school and the pictures are really wonderful. Lots of pictures with short paragraphs for explanation. My oldest son took to this like a starving person. The science fascinated him and it was easy to talk to him about "body stuff" because it was just so interesting and non-sexual. Of course, it gave rise to some pretty good questions and opened the door for me to give some information that he didn't ask, but needed to know.
