Is there a post office inside MK?

I am not sure, but I think there was one and that the US Postal Office stamped the mail with a WDW motif.
I have to send 20 birthday cards around the time we are in WDW, and it would be great to have them stamped that way.
In case there is a post office inside MK, are the prices the same as in the rest of the US?

Also I have to sent a big package to a friend who just moved to NYC (we are from Mexico, she is too, and I will ship her winter coats and boots since she was tight in space and we have plenty - souvenirs ya know?) and I would like to know where is the nearest Post Office or UPS office where they send the packing supplies and where I can ship the box.

TIA

Julie

I know there is a mailbox right in front of City Hall in the MK. But I was home and had put my pictures into an album before those postcards were delivered!!!

:rolleyes1

I've mailed cards/letters from our hotels before, but never a package, and never from inside a park..... :confused3

Thanks, so I think I will go with a faster service and no WDW stamping on the envelopes.

Now, does anybody know where is the closest US Postal Office where Ican mail that stuff?

TIA

Julie

We mailed our postcards at the TTC, in front of the giftshop all the way over by the exit, the bus stops and the walkway to the handicapped parking. Next to the ATM, there is a teal box that I think says "letters". They got to their destinations fast-took about 4 days to get from FL to NJ (considering when we mail stuff from my grandmother's house in FL to NJ, it can sometimes take 7-10 day, so to me it is fast!).

As for a post office-I saw signs for one off CR 535. If you leave the park out of DTD and Hotel Plaza Blvd-as if you are going to CrossRoads. If you make a left, there are signs pointing you to a post office after the second light. Like I said, I am not sure how far it is from WDW, but I have seen signs for it. Sorry i couldn't give you more info.

And I thought they did the WDW postmark, too. I remember, the one time we went-either 2002 or 2003-in Epcot they had little kiosks where the Pin Trading center and tip boards are now, where you could buy, fill out and mail postcards that had a WDW postmark. We intended on doing it but alas, forgot.

I know there's a mailbox on Main St to use for postcards and things but probably not packages and it doesn't get picked up every day.

Last year when I went to mail postcards from the MK and needed to buy postage, they directed me to City Hall. All they had there was a stamp machine with regular US postal stamps. I couldn't buy my stamps there as I needed stamps with enough postage to send to Canada.

I waited and mailed my postcards from the scrapbooking store in DTD. They have a tinkerbell postmark there if I remember correctly.

As for the speed it took the mail to get here from there, I can't really comment as mail always takes forever to get from the US to here in Saskatchewan :rotfl: I'm pretty sure at that location they pick up the mail every day though.

I have mailed packages from the business center at CSR. I would imagine you could do that at any of the WDW convention hotels.

If you take 535 heading toward Apopka/Vineland and take a right on palm parkway (street that olive garden and pizza hut are on) you can follow palm parkway all the way to the post office. You just stay on that road until the post office comes up on your left. It's near the Westgate resorts that you can see from I-4. That is the closest one I know of in the area. But I think you can send packages from your resort too as others have stated.

Thank you all for your replies. I think I will try to mail the cards from the store in DTD and the package from the WL or the CR when we go to Chef Mickeys.
