Is there a photo op with Belle during Enchanted Tales with Belle?

Do they offer a photo op with Belle after the experience? If not, is she available for photos elsewhere?

Also, on average, how long does this experience take? Just trying to plan accordingly. :thanks: in advance!!!

People that are in the "show" get to take a picture with her. Other than that, there is no separate photo op with Belle at the attraction.

ETA... Wanted to add, you don't get to take a posed pic with your camera either. The PP photog takes the pic and gives everyone the card after the show. You can try and snap one while they are taking their pic, but there is no flash photog inside the attraction at all.

Sometimes, they do allow persons who did not have a part in the show to get a Photopass photo with her (they let them get in line with the show people.) Sometimes, they do not.

She is usually available for photos at Akershus (she is generally the princess "greeter" for the photo package, but not always) and at France in Epcot (in her blue dress, not the yellow gown).

This is why we picked Akershus for dinner one night. Belle is traditionally the greeter (and you get an awesome picture taken with her, then delivered to your table) unless she is feeling unwell. And there are other princesses there as well.

It just worked out better, we get to eat and see the princesses for my DGD so we could skip some of the meet and greets.

Loved our breakfast at Akershus. Our pic came out great. ::yes::

Thanks for this. I debated CRT vs. Akershus for about three days, but we've done CRT and I thought more princesses here would get us out of some meet and greet lines. :)

I would say definitely go get a pic with Belle in her blue dress at EPCOT and don't count on an ETWB picture right now, if she is important to you and you aren't doing a princess meal.

If you want to be assured a picture with Belle in her gold dress then absolutely do Akershus.

At ETWB you can not take a picture with your own camera, unless you are lucky enought that you happen to be seated right in front of where the photographer is and an grab a shot when your kid is there.

We went to WDW in October, our ETWB card code did not work and did not pull up pictures- it said it was invalid. I contacted photopass and they searched and our whole session of ETWB's pictures were not there. Which means that no one in that room with us got their Belle pictures. No big deal for us as DD didn't get a real role (she got handed silverware after she walked up and told a CM she wanted to participate) and we had done it before- but I feel really sorry for those other kids and their parents whose kids had bigger roles or loved Belle and really wanted their picture with her.

I have seen 2 other posts on the DIS of people complaining that they same thing happened to them. I've posted to compare dates and times thinking they were probably in our group- and neither of them was even the same day!!!

When we went with Belle - all my kids were chosen - but I did note at the end that EVERY person who wanted a role was given an opportunity. PLENTY of 'extra' roles left over. DO get the pics taken from the card. The terrible lighting - and no flash - make your own camera nearly useless.

If you want a photo with Belle it is best to participate in the show. But if you want a photo but did not participate, just get up and join the line at the end of the show when they start.

You can take a photo with your own camera, you just have to be really on the ball and FAST. Watch the line, and step over behind the PP photographer when the time is right.

I will warn you that it doesn't slow down any even late at night when there is no line. It's still crazy rushed. Just be quick on the draw and you can do it.

Others are correct in that you cannot use a flash. So low end cameras will struggle. If you have a nice camera, dial up that ISO and set to the lowest shutter speed you can handhold. The coloring in there is crazy, so I really suggest shooting in RAW and adjusting in post processing later if you can.

How many children can participate? Are there kids who don't get picked who wanted too?

They have tons of "parts", some bigger than others. Just prepare them to be a fork or spoon and you'll be good. They pick some parts, then ask "Did everyone who wants a part get one?" That's the call for the flatware! ;)

Thanks, my DS won't care if he's a spatula, as long as he getting picked for something. Lol We are in a winning phase. Wouldn't like if other kids got picked over him. Very sensitive.

Yeah, I saw the show twice and both times every kid who wanted to participate was allowed to, they had plenty of tag along parts to give out. The child just got to move along with their prop if they had one of the small parts.

The second time I was selected to play a guard, which was funny in my Batman/Mickey suit. I should really look to see how my picture with Belle turned out.

:p

Yes, one of my twins was picked, the other one wasn't. But the woman who did the picking let the other twin come up and get a pic with Belle, but I hear that's rare. When we were there, not everyone got a roll. Lots of kids were left out. I guess it depends on how many kids are in the group.

Do adults get to participate? It will be my brother in laws bday and he has somewhat of a crush on belle. It would be great if he got choosen

They will pick adults - in fact, the suits of armor are almost always adult men or teenage boys - for some roles, and if there are not enough children. But if there are lots of children, the majority of the roles will go to children.

The times we have done it, the suits of armour are always teens or adults and the wardrobe is always an adult female. If your brother-in-law raises his hand and volunteers to be the suit of armour, there is a good chance he will be picked, because not very many men actively volunteer. Sometimes they just pick a couple guys if no one volunteers.

Other than that, unless there are not enough children all the roles will go to children. They don't pick adults when kids want the roles. They are supposed to ask if any of the children who weren't picked want a role and then those kids can go up and be handed a cardboard cut out (mostly silverware/dishes)- basically those kids are just paraded in a line across the room once for Be Our Guest. If they don't ask- which occasionally can happen- then if a child goes up to the CM right then and asks, then they will hand them a cardboard cut out and let them parade across. In October when we were there, DD had to ask and then they remembered to ask if other kids wanted roles and a bunch did.

About how long is the actual experience? Trying to plan out these fast passes, thanks so much!

IIRC, the show was about 15-20 minutes. :scratchin

Also wanted to add that in regards to OP question and related responses....I have one extremely outgoing daughter and one very shy daughter. My outgoing daughter (who regularly appears on stage at our local theater) raised her hands and jumped up and down for a park....she was the utensils...:rotfl2:

My shy little one hid behind us when they were choosing parts, and didn't get picked for anything. But after the show, Belle actually asked for her to come up and take pics!!! And even my shy little one is not going to say no to Belle!!! :p

When we did it a couple of weeks ago, the people in the show got a photo op and so did anyone else in the "audience". Both of my kids were in the show and got a picture with her.....so did I but I wasn't in the show. The show itself is about 15-20 minutes. Its a really cute show. I'm still trying to figure out how they turned the mirror into a door though lol
