Keflex question:
This is the first time I've taken this med. I have had a hanging-on cough since a virus/bronchitis back in April. Doc thinks it is post-viral cough but gave me a prescription for Keflex when I saw him a month ago. He said if "things turned green" to go ahead and fill the prescription.
Well, this weekend things turned green when I coughed up.
So, I started the Keflex. I basically think I'm fine but I have fairly significant fatigue/tiredness today. At first, I just thought I was tired, but now I can't seem to shake it. Even laid down for several hours (didn't go to work either). I looked at the prescription insert and it said to "report unusual fatigue/tiredness to your doctor/pharmacist." Well, I've got a message into them but I may not even hear back until tomorrow.
Is this a side effect that is a big deal or something common?
Thanks!
Edited to add: Believe it or not, I think I'm getting *another* cold on top of whatever it is I have. Un-freakin-believable. Nose and sinuses are all stuffed up today. Still on Keflex. Very confused. Coincidence or medication?
