Hello! I was wondering if in addition to the nightly campsite fee, if we will pay an additional fee to park? If we don't, do we still get to park for free at the parks? Thank you so much!

If you are staying in a campsite, there is no parking fee at FW. If staying at one of the cabins at FW, you pay for parking. All guests, staying at a WDW resort, have free theme park parking.
Thank you! Appreciate the clarification. We have a campsite, so was just trying to figure out if we needed to budget $$ for parking.

If there is way possible they can think they get you for a extra dollar,
then they will, so if you park any where else except your camping spot,
Then they got you $25.00 and goes up from there. per day, and you take your big rig in the park lot something like $30.

How does the theme park KNOW u are staying on property when going to a park? Resort parking pass?

You do not get a parking pass with room any more, and you dont have a pass you got to pay up at the gate.
not long ago parking was included with resort guest, but Disney got the idea to sting you for the extra dollars, they did it to many perks.
good o Disney is not what it was.

Is FREE theme park Parking accurate for onsite Disney Resort guests??. Someone said yes, others have said no. 🤷‍♀️

You got it , I know it sucks, one of many reasons why I won’t go to Disney any more, always wanting more for less.

Free parking at the theme parks (they scan your Magic Band at the toll plaza) but you pay to park at a Disney resort unless you are a DVC owner or renting points from a DVC member.

here it is

If you are a Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you receive complimentary standard parking at Disney theme parks for the length of your Resort stay. You must present valid Disney Resort hotel identification to enter the parking lots.

so pay up at the resort then you are good to go Anywhere.
but it still cost you and it was once included.

Umm, that is what I said. Resort ID is your scanned Magic Band at the toll plaza at the parking entrance. You do have to pay a nightly fee to park at a Disney resort unless DVC or renting DVC points.

Thx all for re-clarifying for me. My many multi year AP visits are long gone so it’s been a while. If I hadn’t already bought the tix( and now moved the dates twice) I’d not even be returning lol.
next up… figuring out the ins/outs of genie+ .. the next UPcharge 🙄.

You mentioned magic bands .
they are no longer free.
geni plus class one rip off.
and you got to order your food on your phone or they will not let you in.
Disney is a drag anymore.
lol

Except if you are a guest at a Fort Wilderness campsite. There is no parking fee for guests at a campsite.

If you are a guest at a Fort Wilderness cabin, you pay.

As was mentioned earlier, they check your magic band/guest card to verify you are an on-property guest to get the free theme park parking.

PS - and it says the campsite is entitled to one vehicle but I've not heard of a camper being charged for additional vehicles very often/if at all. If you're on the the list as a campsite guest, you're good.

PPS - and I don't think us campers got away with a deal. Disney did double digit prices increases (greater than 10% a year) for two years overall (and other years not quite as high) that I'm sure cover any parking fee. It's just hard to collect because some folks drive an rv, some tow a car, some use a car to pull the camper, some bring an extra car, yada yada.

Never said magic bands were free. They are offered at a discounted rate to people who book through Disney for a Disney resort. Or, you can ask for a traditional key card at the front desk (free) or use your phone and the MDE app.

This was the site across from me one weekend this past January. They said they didn't get charged for any of the vehicles. Kind of laughed about it.

Wow! :Pinkbounc

Does Disney know how much money they are leaving on the table by not charging your neighbors, @Teamubr? :confused3

That would all flow to Disney's bottom line.

Typical corporate dumb think. Glad I'm out of it. ::yes::

I can't belive that. When I had the golf cart, 3 or 4 ywars ago, I had 2 tires barely over the paved area, half on the ground. They left a note on the cart that all vehical wheels had to be on the pavement.
