We are going to be there November 8-13 for my daughter's 5th birthday. party:
I am a little nervous about what I have been reading about the Christmas parade filming. First it was just going to be the 7th, but now it looks like it is going to be the 7th, 8th and 9th. In addition I read on another site about a Harry Potter day on the 8th. We were expecting to encounter crowds on Wednesday for Veteran's Day, but we didn't know about the other stuff going on. :headache:

Where did you find out about these? We will be there November 9 or 10 through the 15. We'll be there in the crowds on Veteran's Day.

We're staying at HoJo's for the first time, we'll see if the pool is worth the extra walk.

Here is the link to the thread about the parade filming. Disney doesn't seem to have all the details ironed out yet. :confused3 http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2301345

Here is the link to a thread about the Harry Potter day that I found while trying to find more information about the parade filming.

I am hoping that the crowds aren't too bad as the schools only seem to have Wednesday off. Here is hoping. I am sure we will have a wonderful time no matter what.
We are also staying at HoJo's for the first time. We have stayed at DLH our other trips.

November here! 3rd-10th. We're staying at Staybridge Suites in Anaheim for half and Best Western Isalnd Palms in San Diego for the second half. Only doing 3-day park hoppers to DL but very much looking forward to it :)

Sorry to the Miley fans, but she has concert dates in Newark, NJ on Nov 7th and 8th so it's not likely she'll be involved in the DL Xmas parade. It' possible but, with the time difference between DL and NJ, I don't think it's likely. I would bet it will be Selena Gomez since she has a new album out.

We are going November 1-5th and will be staying at PPH. I am so excited, I cannot wait! Currently we are telling the kids we are getting up early to go to breakfast but we are really driving to Disneyland!:rotfl: Hopefully they will sleep in the car for a bit, since they will be tired from trick or treating and being woken up in the middle of the night to get on the road! Hope to see some LGMHs!:cool1:

We'll be there from the 13th till the 23rd. We're staying at HoJos.

Sorry to the Miley fans said:
I will be pleased if Miley isn't there - while my DD would love it if she was performing, it would make it easier for our plans if we didnt' have to hang out at the castle for hours!

As to the weather question in an earlier post, it depends on what you are used to...we are from Texas so we use a light hoodie during the morning hours until the sun warms everything up. In the evening we use our light winter coats (like a thick fleece) for the evening time as when the sun sets it gets too cold for us - but we are used to hot hot weather with lots of humidty...

I'll be there for my birthday weekend, November 19-22 ;) Staying at the Hampton Inn for the first time. Needed a 6 body suite with a kitchen ;)

We are headed there Nov.17-22! We are so excited, first time during winter holiday season. Staying at GCH concierge! Woohoo:cheer2:

When will you guys be having dinner at Ariel's? We are there on the 16th.

Our dinner at Ariel's is on the 14th!

We'll be there the 28th - Dec. 2nd (so I guess that means I can also join the Dec. thread:rotfl:). We're flying into San Diego on the 24th and doing a day downtown, Thanksgiving day at Sea World, a day at Legoland, then heading to the DLH for 4 nights:woohoo:. We've only been once in 1994, our 2 oldest were 4 and 2, so they don't remember much. DH and I are excited to be able to ride the big rides now! The girls are excited for Ariel's and BBB, DS7 can't wait for Jedi training and splash. We have our countdown chain up, and at the 30 day mark, I'll fill a bowl w/ hershey's kisses & count down w/ those too. I bought Mickey paper plates & napkins & we'll have Mickey & Minnie pancakes too. We can't wait!:yay:

We are going the beginning of Thanksgiving Week - Nov 22 - 26 - staying at the Desert Inn. This is our first trip and we are really excited!

:yay:

We will be there 12-19 staying at PPH!!
Sooo excited, our DS's first O/S trip, and to the happiest place on earth at that!!

We leave November 2nd and will be there until Friday the 6th. Our daughter turns one on Nov. 28th, so we're going to celebrate her first birthday. Our four friends are going with us, and we're staying, for the first time, at the Grand Californian! So, so excited!
