I checked the price for our upcoming trip a couple of weeks ago and the cost had dropped from $133 one way to $79 (not including fees and tax). I tried to purchase two seats but it kept giving me an "oops that fare is no longer available" but you can purchase at $115. I openned several new windows and retried but got the same offer of $79 and the same oops message. In the mean time I called SW and apparently the same time I was trying to buy someone else was entering their credit card info for the seats at that price. When I tried the last time the $79 fare was replaced by the $115. Anyway, the $115 (actually $125) seats have preferred boarding and one premium cocktail. Do I still need to call in and what's up with the cocktail, it's a 6:30 AM flight, what if my 19 year old were going, who gets the cocktail? When I went last month they offered a guaranteed A section seat for $10 more which for me wasn't worth it. Has anyone else here got this offer?

If you try to book two seats but only one at the lower price ($79.) remained, then you will be quoted the next lower price ($115.)

The guaranteed "A" boarding pass is for the "business select" (tm)class seats.

Sounds like a business select fare, see the attached chart. Kind of like first class on a legacy airline (but without the larger seats). There is a footnote that says you must be 21 or older for the cocktail.

It's actually for a premium beverage, not necessarily a cocktail. That includes alcoholic beverages, but also includes Monster energy drinks.

Actually, as of April 1st, Beverage coupons can no longer be used to purchase Monster energy drinks!

As of now, the coupon is only for alcoholic beverages which is a shame. Hopefully they bring back that energy drink! I loved it!

What? Next you'll be telling me that they don't have lemons on board or something. ;)
