don't like, and a lot of people look at you like you're nuts because you don't?

I have 2 in particular that my SO and my SIL think I should like I can't stand. Phil Collins (there's only 1 of his songs I don't mind hearing, but it puts me in a dark mood ), and the other is Tom Petty. Tom Petty totally freaks me out.

I don't know if anyone thinks I'm nuts but I have always hated Metallica (and they were supposed to have been great...ick!)

I LOVE PHIL COLLINS THOUGH! Especially his Disney music. I can't imagine you not likeing the Tarzan Soundtrack!

I'm trying to think and am drawing a blank.....oh wait! .50 Cent! OMG the teens today love this person and Eminem or however you spell it...HELLO! ICK ICK YUCK YUCK! GAG!

When I bought Disney's Greatest Hits, Volume 1, the 1st song playing is one from the Tarzan soundtrack. My SO decided he liked the cd because he could hear Phil. I normally start on track 5 on that cd though. On Volume 2, the first track is another Phil song.

I know people are going to think I'm crazy, being from New Jersey and all, but I can not stand Bruce Springstein. Everything about him just bothers me. I have even met him in person and was so not impressed.

None of the ones you guys mentioned bother me, but I have never been able to stand Britney Spears. I have no problem with any of the other blond girl teeny bopper singers, but she just grates on my nerves. I think her speaking voice is even more annoying than her singing voice. It always sounds to me like she is trying way too hard to hide her southern accent when she talks so her words come out all slow and in a little girly sing song voice!! Yuck!!

Yeah, Garth Brooks. DW & I love C&W. George Strait is THE MAN!!! GB is too rock & roll for me-not a real country sound. Especially his last 10 years or so. Our friends think we're nuts. C & W is big around here...

My family watches Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune every night, and there is this commercial for this Christian singer named Christy Lane. Well, they show this commercial at least twice a night during Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Every time the commercial comes on, I moan really loudly, sometimes I start yelling at the TV, I always cover my ears until the commercial is over. Never has one person or commercial driven me so insane! I've probably seen this commercial 500 times! I can't stand this woman! I actually called them one time and told them that they play the commercial too much!
