Is there a map of the photopass photographers?

We are trying to plan a family photograph and and would love to know where all the photographers typically are. I know they will always be at the popular spots such as the castle and so forth, but what about not so popular spots?

I think they just pop up. Like you said they are always infront of the park icons. I would also check around the ride areas and visual points. Like the falcon, everest, Pandora

”less popular” spots are hit or miss since the goal is the sell pictures so the popular spots get more in order to take more.
personally, I have found the better photographers seem to be at the more popular spots too

Well...the Photopass locations are listed on the physical maps as well as the MDE app. I cannot answer your question as to not so popular spots, but my family saw several photographers standing under a shaded umbrella. I asked if they were on break or available for pictures. I told them it was fine if they were unavailable and one of them said to me he would be happy to take our picture. This was in AK and around the ToL area as you walk from the front gate to the ToL. Now, that's a poplulated area as guests breakoff into the various walkway spokes to the land they are head to. I'm not sure I saw a lot of photopass CMs standing in low wait areas. The one exception is that at Star Wars launch bay, in HS, there are several photopass opportunities that were more quiet and out of the way. One is a photopass CM for anybody to use. The other is a photopass CM for those who hold a Disney Visa Credit Card. They do magic shots with various Star Wars characters. It's neat.
