You can eat as many as you like, but dont make it a habit past that because of cholestrol issues. Plus you will tire of them quickly...ask me how I know...
I am at goal weight after 3 and 1/2 months of atkins. YIPPEEEEE!!!!
airhead, I love seeing your posts here on WISH, you always make me smile. You have so much enthusiasm for your new way of eating.
I always count an egg as 1 gram of carbohydrate just to be on the safe side. So, if you skip your veggies (don't do this ever) you could ostensibly eat 20 eggs a day (more if you count them as .6 grams )
You know what I learned? I can't remember where right now but my husband asked his internist and he confirmed it, if you eat absolutely no cholesterol containing foods, your body will make it's own cholesterol. So, eggs are just as safe as any other food. That's my story and I'm sticking to it

medical experts have actually come out with that fact in the last couple of years. They used to say that eggs caused high cholesterol, but it's not true. Your body makes cholesterol - you don't get high cholesterol from eating it.
