Pixar is notorious for easter eggs. Besides all the hidden references to their other movies, they also refer to Apple. I didn't make anything of it until recently when I rememberd that Steve Jobs was "responsible" for picking Pixar up out of the dumps and signing with Disney. The most memorable and funniest one for me is when Wall-E is rebooting and makes the Apple start-up sound.

That's funny I was watching Wall-E a couple of days ago and heard that sound thinking it sounded just like the apple start up. It would be interesting to learn about other Easter eggs that have to do with apple, if there are any others, in Disney Pixar films.

There is also an ipod in Wall-E (on which Hello, Dolly is watched).

A fun one from "Cars" is the Apple race car that appears:

Notice the icon on the hood. Also, 84, the number of the race car is reference to the year Apple introduced the MacIntosh computer.

And speaking of MacIntosh, Pixar's most recent tribute to Apple/Jobs: The MacIntosh Clan in "Brave."
