Is there a good weekend in November to go to DL?

I am thinking November 2007. I've been wanting to go November 2007, and dh is hesitantly saying, "Maybe a long weekend." Well, I know better than to go Veteran's Day weekend. Certainly not Thanksgiving weekend, either. Are any of the other weekends okay?

It will be the first time as a family of five for us, with this trip being my youngest's first time. He will be 14 months at the time. My older two kids have their birthdays in November, which is part of the reason why I want to go during that month. I'm trying to decide how to get 3 days at the parks, with maybe an extra evening in DTD and Goofy's Kitchen upon arrival. Something like that, anyway. Last time we did Goofy's the morning we were leaving. But we were driving, then, so it didn't matter if we got a little off-schedule.

Anyway, I am totally dying to see Holiday Haunted Mansion. That alone is worth the trip. My dd asked me today, "Mommy, when are we going back to Disneyland?" And my ds#1 is hoping he will be tall enough for Splash Mountain when we go back.

We went the week before Veteran's Day last year. We were only there on Sunday of the weekend, but crowds were not bad at all, and that was during the 50th celebration. We did see NBC In HM at that time, but otherwise the holiday stuff wasn't really up yet. To get a full holiday effect, you'll need to do the weekend after Veteran's day. Never done an extended holiday weekend, but I hear they're pretty bad for crowds and I don't have any great advice for you there.
