We walk or take a ferry to the Boardwalk. The only place we kindof enjoy at DHS is Sci-fi...but I am all about environment...make DH take me many places for environment.
The dearth of counter service options at the Studios is inexplicable. The other three parks have creative, interesting counter service options. Why can't this one? My family generally plans our days with a counter service lunch and a table service dinner. A meal at the ABC Commissary or the Backlot Express is always so unappealing.
Actually, the entire park is quickly becoming unappealing. But that's a discussion for another thread, I suppose.
We were prepared for not so great CS meal last visit to DHS. We were hungry around TOT so we ate at Rosie's. I was pleasantly surprised at the burger. I didn't want dessert so the CM let me choose another drink or a salad (I choose the salad since I was sharing my meal with my two year old.) I guess if you plan on a ok meal you maybe surprised.
I'm trying to choose our dining establishments for an upcoming trip, but I'm stuck when it comes to DHS. What is our best bet for a "good" CS place at DHS.....or is there one?
You won't find the grapefruit cake in the case at Starring Rolls, BUT you may ask for it and they will get it out of the kitchen they share with the Brown Derby. Same price as other similar desserts. I got one last time I was there, no problem.
