Is there a "formal night" on a 4 night Dream cruise?

Trying to get our packing list together!! I've already got everyone's pirate outfits -- is there a formal night that I should bring outfits for? And, if so, what night is it usually? Thanks!!

It's termed as a "dress up" night.

It is an optional dress up night. I've seen more cruise casual than formal wear on our last 3 cruises.

Just returned from the Disney Magic four-night cruise. Many people wore shorts, t-shirts, sneakers and baseball caps. The "Optional Dress Up" was definitely optional!

I was also wondering how many people actually dress up on this optional dress up night. We're on the Disney Dream 4-night cruise as well (on board in 15 days! WOO HOO!!) and there are 12 of going. I'm the "quarterback" for the family team, so to speak, so they are relying on me to some degree to be sure that they are packing correctly.
Specifically, should the men wear sport coats? Or ties?
I'd really appreciate any recent cruisers' advice!

As the night is Dress Up OPTIONAL, pretty much anything goes. You'll see everything from tee shirts and shorts to fancier dress.

On our 4 night cruise, the girls wore nice sundresses and the guys wore button downs. No jackets.

Yes, no "formal" night. But there is a Dress Up Optional night.

There was a dress up night on our 4 night. We had Palo resos so we dressed a little nicer. Kids were in polo shirts and sun dresses.

3, 4 and 5 day are the same, optional dress up night. They are definitely way more casual than the 7 night and longer cruises, formal and semi formal nights.
