We are a family of 2 adults and 2 sons. One day I will be going to awater park with one son and the second day I would like to give my KTTWC to my other son so the two boys can go together. I only want to buy WP&M option for 2 tickets? Will this work?

Ques. 1 Yes, there are finger scans. I think. Maybe not.
Ques.2 No. It won't work. Or shouldn't even if it does. You can not give your ticket to someone else. Even if you don't want to pay.

Run! Run now! The DIS police are coming! Thankfully, you didn't misspell anything. Go in peace.

Check the prices. If you are planning to do this, it is probably cheaper to get yourself a WPaM and the two boys just a seperate entrance ticket to the water park. This way you won't have to worry about finger scans.

We have the same type of turnstiles and scanners in the water parks as in the major theme parks.

If you are only planning to have one water park or Disney Quest day you are much better off purchasing separate tickets.

If you add the Water Parks Fun and More option to your MYW ticket it will cost $55.38 (including tax) per person, adult or child. It will add one WPF&M entry per day on the base or hopper ticket (but two entries on a one day ticket).

If you purchase one day water park or Disney Quest tickets they cost $48.99 adult and $42.60 child. If you are an Annual Passholder or DVC Member you can purchase one day water park tickets at an approximate 10% discount.

This upgrade may be done at any Park (including water parks or TTC) ticket booth or Guest Relations Office. If it is on your room key it can also be done at the Resort Lobby Concierge.

(Note each person must have their own ticket. Even though it adds multiple entries to your ticket, you can only use one ticket for one person.)

Also, if you are planning to do three or more water park visits within a year there is a definite price advantage to purchase Water Park Annual Passes.

We have two unusual policies at the water parks concerning ticketing. Both involve use of a one day water park ticket.

One is we will allow full value of the used WP ticket to upgrade to a WP AP as long as it is within 14 days of use.

The other, which is the only time combining tickets is allowed, is we will merge a used WP one day ticket with a MYW ticket to add the WPF&M option and only charge the difference in price.

Your KTTW card will have your name on it. Your son might get questioned trying to get in with a card with a woman's name on it. Not worth the embarrassment in my opinion.

I see you just "joined" us about a month ago....don't let us scare you its just that this is a big no no and it always ends up getting a little heated
now you know the rules...have a great trip & stick around we're good people...ok most of the time..:rotfl2:

I have 2 "plus" options left on two pre-MYW tickets. Will the old tickets have to be exchanged for new tickets at a water park? The last time they were used was in 2005 at Pleasure Island.

1) And the clouds parted.
2) The sky cleared.
3) The sun rose low in the East.
4) And a booming voice from on-high said,

. . . "Thou Shall Not Transfer Tickets"

NOTE: We cannot tell if the voice was James Earl Jones, God, or Iger.

If I understand you correctly you & son #1 will go the first day and son #1 & son #2 will go the second time without you. If this is correct, get your & #2 sons MYW ticket without WP&M option (Base ticket) and get #1 sons tickets with WP&M option. You will pay around $44 for your and #2 sons 1 day passes to the water park and #1 son will have as many WP&M options as he has days on his ticket for about $54. If you and #2 son decide that you want to go again at some point you can take your 1 day admissions for the WP and upgrade your MYW ticket to WP&M paying the difference between the 1 day price & the WP&M option. This is the only time you can combine tickets.
