Is there a door "missing" in the OKW Grand Villas?

We got a grand villa for the first time last week and I noticed something missing--a door that ought to be there separating the bathroom/shower area from the main bedroom area.
Uncleromulus is almost always up and at 'em long before Mrs. Uncleromulus is stirring. But in my taking a shower in the morning, shaving ,turning on the lights etc, there is no door from that area that can be closed... meaning all the noise and the lights woke Mrs. U each morning.
Just wondered if anyone else found this to be any sort of a "problem".

Isn't the Master Bath in the 3BR's similar to that in the 2BR's, where there is "no" door between the garden bath/sink area and the bedroom, but there "is" a door between the sink/bath area and the shower/toilet area?

We're checking into a 3BR at Vero tomorrow - I'll let you know if no one else can confirm...

From looking at the floor plan in the Member's Guide, there only seems to be a door to the "toilet" area, the rest seems open.

Not according to the OKW Grand Villa floor plans at the DVC public Web site.

The OKW Grand Villa master bathroom (first floor) has a different layout than that of an OKW 1BR/2BR.

Having recently booked an OKW Grand Villa for 2003, the post from Uncleromulus made me look up the floor plan. The floor plan is different because there's a powder room instead of the washer/dryer room adjacent to the master bathroom.

The good news is that the toilet has a door you can close. Also, I assume you could go to the nearby powder room and close the door to shave and brush your teeth with the light on. But, as Uncleromulus wrote, there does not appear to be any door between the master bedroom and the shower.

THe layout in the GV is a little different than the smaller units. The bowl is all alone in its own little room. The sink area is open to the bedroom. With the shutter closed by the jacquizzi, the light will not go toward the bed.

The master bath in the smaller units is somewhat larger and is set up with a seperate room that has a sink, shower and bowl.

That entire sink and shower area is wide open. Even with the shuttersabove the whirlpool tub closed, the doorway area (where I think the door ought to be) is wide open. And the light and noise does get thru--Mrs. U will be glad to verify that!!

That's what I wound up doing once--using that powder room to shower/shave. But guess what?? It proved a bit awkward when 2 of our upstairs guests came down while I was in the shower. And it would really be awkward if there were folks sleeping in the sofa bed area. That powder room sort of becomes their bathroom.

Whole thing not a great big deal in the grand scheme of things. But there really should be a door separating the bedroom area from the shower/tub/twin sink areas.
