I have been so busy busy preparing for my DIScar the-place-to-be-after-the-awards-ceremony-bash that I haven't keep up with all of the winners.


Here's my menu so far:

Crab and Roasted Corn Quesadilla from the Brown Derby or Baked Brie' with Jalapeno Chutney from Disneyland Hotel

Cold Strawberry Soup from 1900's Park Faire or Cheese Soup from LeCellier

Cinderalla Salad from Cindy's or Lobster Salad from Ariel's

Pine Nut Bread from Victoria's & Alberts or Potato Bread from Rose & Crown

Red Snapper in Lobster Sauce from Grand Floridian or Sauteed Chicken in Puff Pastry from Yacht & Beach Club or Mushroom-stuffed Filet from LeCellier

Creme' Brulee from LeCellier or Dark Chocolate Cake from The Land or Fantasia Cheesecake from The Plaza Inn or Grapefruit Cake from the Hollywood Brown Derby.




I am dizzy from blowing up all those Lime Green & Silver balloons. It's been really hard to find lime green linens but I finally cut up about 50 lime green T-shirts to make table clothes.


BTW, its BYOB (or in WillyJ's case, BYONyQuil).

Please RSVP ASAP with your table requests, the number in your party, your menu requests, and if you will be needing a ride home afterward.

Awww, Willy is having laptop computer problems and won't be able to get online until Monday or Tuesday when he switches hotels, but I'll represent him. Here are little, tiny, travel size Nyquils for each place setting.

The food sounds delicious. Since I've been protesting these awards, if I promise not to streak and sit quietly in the corner, can I stay? If so, it would be:

Corner table, for one

Cold Strawberry Soup
Lobster Salad
Pine Nut Bread
Red Snapper in Lobster Sauce (sauce on the side please)
Creme' Brulee

I think I'll be okay, I'll be able to get home on my own. But thank you!

....... and is there a plumber that can come over and replace my kitchen sink? Somebody misunderstood Pete's Mom's menu suggestion and my sink is now sitting on my front lawn, waiting for the Schwan man to deliver some ice cream.....
