Is there a difference?

Just wondering how different the original Crocs are compared to similar knock-offs? I saw some at Walmart but didn't want to buy any until I found out if there really is much of a difference

The "real" crocs are much softer, that is, they mold to your foot better usually. The fakes tend to be very hard and don't really mold to your foot as easily which kind of defeats the purpose. The best fakes i've seen are probably the ones at payless (airwalks) which tend to be softer than the target ones (i haven't seen any at wal-mart here). But hey, if they're comfy, go for it, some people may actually prefer the knockoffs.

I have the airwalks ones and they are very comfortable. Not as good as crocs, but much better than the others.

They were selling some at disney, that had a turtle on them, and they were
much softer than crocs.

I only like the flip flop crocs and tried the knock off airwalks ones...after wearing the 'real' ones, the airwalk ones just seemed SO uncomfortable and stiff. Icky...not for me.

The ones from WalMart are no where near the real thing. I have the real ones and bought the WalMart ones for DD...hers were so hard and like the previous poster said they never really molded to her feet so now she has some real ones thanks to grandma!!

Ok...Crocs are very comfortable! However, my feet must be wierd, and two of my toes rub against eachother in the shoes when I wear them in the parks. But, as long as I have a band-aid I am ok! I have 2 pairs of fakes from WalMart...I LOVE my lime green ones...DIS! BUT! Try the Airwalks (look like Crocs) from Payless shoes...they are between $7-$10 and are very comfortable, as well. Try them on...they are an alternative to Crocs if you do not want to pay $30.00 for each pair.

I bought the knockoffs and had blisters any time I tried to wear them in WDW.
My best friend gets a 20 % off discount on the real ones so I am gonna have her pick me up a pair before my next trip

I bought a pair of knock-offs at walmart last year, the cut outs were diamonds, they were soft. The ones there this year, I think hexagon cut outs, are horrid. They are hard and very uncomfortable, I only tried them in the store and did not purchase them. I am off to get some REAL ones. (The ones at target are very hard to and not at all comfy)

They were selling them in the shop to the left of the bathrooms in adventure land, it's between aladdin and the dole whip. And they were only $20.00.

Crocs are not TPA&S material, so I'm bumping you over to Community.

They only had one color, it was a lighter brown.

You know, I learned my lesson when I bought Birkenstock knock-offs a few years back.

Your feet are very important. Go for the real ones. If the knock-offs were as well made, they'd be the same price.
