Is there a Christmas Party this year?

I did a quick thread search and I'm either blind or there isn't one.

We will be there first weekend in December. Will PTN be running again? Electrical Light Parade?

Just questions......

MSEP isn't supposed to start until 2017. So far the dates for PTN are just what they announced. There is no hard ticket event, but there is something happening in DCA, but no details from Disney yet. Speculation is it will be like F&W, with booths lining the walkways. Possibly similar to the village near the ice rink in DTD the last ffew years.

First weekend in December you will be able to view the Candlelight Processional. There will only be 1 PTN those nights at 1030 or so.

Disneyland has not had a Christmas Party in recent memory (or ever).

i am not sure what a "Christmas Party" is, but Disney has hosted plenty of private groups and things like Radio Stations that say "Christmas Party", Disney does have special days/evenings for CM's, but they are held usually in September and October that are designed to be the "Christmas Party".

WDW has the "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party".

So if you are looking for a special after hours event that is sold to the public at Disneyland for the Christmas season (like the WDW version mentioned above), there is no offering in Anaheim.

But Disneyland clearly celebrated the Christmas season.

Thank you! I've attended the Christmas party at WDW and couldn't remember if they had one at Disneyland.

There is no Christmas Party at DL like there is at WDW. THANK GOD!!! At DL, you get all the Christmas offerings at no unbelievably sky-high fee like they do at WDW, or at DL for the Halloween party. Plus, with parties at DL, there's only one other park to head to which means DCA is absolute madness. At least at WDW there's three parks to pick from on party nights. I love WDW at Christmas, but I sure don't miss what the parties would do to the masses of people.
