Is there a "chicken exit" option at UO thrill rides?

Next month my college age daughter and I are visiting Universal for the first time. There are a few thrill rides that I do not care to ride but she wants to go on them. Is it an option for me to wait in line with her and then leave before boarding the ride? We have been to Disney many times and that's never been a problem there so I am hoping Universal offers something similar.

Thanks,
Mary

Yes, every ride and attraction at every theme/amusement park has a so-called chicken exit. Just tell the boarding attendant you don't wish to ride and you'll be shown the way out.

Yes. Most at UO have a child swap room at the boarding point so you may be able to wait for her in there.

Of course they do.

You'll be able to wait for her to come off at the exit.
