I love RNR!! My oldest DS is going to ride it with me this time :thumbsup2
my DH and youngest DS will not ride
But can they walk thru the que with us and exit when we go to board the coaster? My DH is a huge Aerosmith fan and I think he would love the que
Thx in advance!

Yes there is a chicken exit.
If your youngest DS is not tall enough to ride, they may not let him go in. Maybe someone else who has had this experience will be able to answer that for you.

yes my DD changed her mind after the line. Right at the end you can go into the gift shop.... and wait there for the members of your party who ride..
They will also allow you to child swap at this point too. Dh waited in the gift shop with DD and I got off..then he went on ( A nice CM also let my 17 year old who just rode go back on with my DH ... SHHHHH don't tell)

You may exit ANY attraction at WDW after walking through the queue,
without boarding and riding the attraction.

This goes for everything from Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo up to Space Mountain, Tower of Terror,
and Expedition Everest.

Just tell the "loading CM" that you decided not to ride.

It's no big deal at all.

The more involving/interesting queues at WDW are:

Pirates of the Caribbean
Tower of Terror
Rock'nRollercoaster
Expedition Everest
Its Tough to Be a Bug
Dinosaur
Test Track

And the PRE-shows to the following can be fun by themselves:
MuppetVision 3D
American Adventure ("Voices of Liberty")
Ellen's Energy Adventure

Special note:
In Haunted Mansion, there is even a "Opt-Out" Exit, just after you leave the Streching Room.
On your right, you'll see a door with this sign. That's the exit. (It also doubles as the wheelchair entrance.)

I've always wondered what was behind the door but I didn't want to give up my chance to ride to see. Is that where the bells are to the various rooms and the servant's entrance is?

Yup, but it might have changed a bit since the last major HM refurb.
