Is there a calculator to help determine the 7 month window date?

We are planning our first trip to VGC and will be booking for Spring Break. Without getting out the calendar... is there a calculator somewhere?

Also... when do reservations open ... at Midnight Eastern? Sorry... such a newbie to all of this.

Yes...It's in your head. Take the date of your stay (i.e. June 1) and subtract 7 months. That gives you Nov. 1.

Thanks Diane!!! I was thinking it would be a bit more exact than just that... there used to be a calculator to determine when to book dining at 180 days out... back in the day.

When does booking begin? Midnight Eastern or later?

As soon as I log in, if I scroll down, on the right hand side I see (this is really specific for me, today, LOL):

You can start requesting up-to-7-night reservations for arrival as far out as:

Arrival Date : April 19 2014

I wondered the same thing when I bought DVC. For dining reservations it's 180 days (not 6 months) but for DVC it is 7 months (not 210 +/- days).
