We are planning to hop from Epcot to an MK resort (not sure which one) for dinner. Do we have to take the monorail to the ttc then transfer or is there a bus directly to the MK resorts from the front of Epcot?

Thanks!

You'll need to take the monorail.

the bus at Epcot drops you off at the TTC

There are no buses between the TTC and Epcot.

Wow! Transportation is a challenge for the MK resorts and Epcot! I guess that's enough to keep us from staying at one. Epcot has always been our favorite evening destination.

Is there a reason you want to avoid the monorail?

You could walk or take the boat to DHS and then take a bus to the resort from there, but the monorail will be much faster and easier.

Love the monorail, just trying to avoid having to transfer to another monorail from the TTC to the Floridian or Contemporary. I know we can walk to the Poly from the TTC.

Thanks.

There IS a bus from WL to EP. If the plan is to hop to MK afterwards (why you are choosing a MK resort), there is a quick/nice boat to MK from WL.

Cab fare from EP to all MR resorts is ~$15 and takes 10-15 minutes. This would also allow you to exit the international gateway and walk over to the Beach Club for a cab if you're closer to there than the front gate.

How long does the walk take?

I have never done it, but I am guessing around 20-25 minutes or so. All depends on how fast you walk.

To get back to the TTC

1) you could walk
2) take the resort monorail to the TTC (if it is still running).
3) take the boat from the GF to the Poly and then walk to TTC (my recommendation).
