Is there a big difference between a Value and Standard Studio at AKV?

Is a value significantly smaller? Where could I find pictures to compare a value and standard studio?

The value studio is 316 sq ft where the standard is 365 sq ft. From the door to the back wall, the standard is 3 ft longer.

Here are typical floor plans for a Value and a Jambo House non-Value studio. As stated, the Value studio is shorter. The kitchenette and bathrooms are identical in size. The length difference is in the living/sleeping area. As a result, the little bench seat with drawer that is found in the larger studios does not fit into a Value, so you have less storage space. Standard View studios in Jambo House face the pool (or a pool, garden or parking lot in Kidani). The Value studios (which are only in Jambo House) face the pool, the Sunset Savanna or the parking lot.

Thanks for that sketch. We had a dedicated Value for Sept. Snapped it up for the low points but will be interesting to see if the space issue is really that noticeable.

We just stayed in a value studio in June. There was me, my 22yo, 12yo, and 9yo DDs and we had plenty of space (including all of our luggage!) I was pleasantly surprised. The bench doesn't provide enough storage space to justify its existence, as far as I'm concerned, I liked having the little corner there to put our Owner's Locker and stack up suitcases.

We really appreciated having that bench. The dresser drawers are quite small and there aren't many of them since nearly half of the dresser is used to store the pack'n'play. There isn't much space to hang up clothes given that half of the wardrobe is used for the vacuum cleaner and ironing board. Even though it was just DH and I, we needed the extra space in that bench drawer. We each had a rolling duffle so we just rolled them under the bed once we had unpacked.

I found it to be quite noticeable. In addition to the missing bench, the furniture in the value is all pushed together so everything is almost touching. It took creativity to find a place to put the cushions and coffee tables when the sofa was unfolded.

But the values are the best deal in DVC in terms of points - and I'd take a smaller room over a cruddy view any day.

DS will be 2 this fall and not sure if he will be in a Pack n Play or on the pullout so it should be interesting to configure it all.

we didn't have any problem putting the cushions between the sofa and the window. We put the tables between the bed and sofabed which worked well and didn't get in anyone's way.

Do you have a similar picture regarding the standard 1Br and value 1Br?

Thanks!

Here are side by side floor plans for the kitchen and living room of a non-Value 1BR on the left and a Value 1BR on the right and the master bedroom and bathroom comparison. The kitchens and bathrooms are the same size. The length difference is in the bedroom and living rooms.
