Is there a April 2011 thread somewhere?

We have been in February and April vacation. The weather has been gorgeous both times. We stay at the All Star Music Suites. DH, DD11,DD 21, DD bf and myself. Well worth it. We have flown down from Mass. and driven down. Either way it is a blast. We are once again going for April vacation. The countdown is on.

Doing the Happy dance just talking about it.:cool1::dance3::woohoo::cheer2:

We are heading to WDW April 10-16 for our second visit. It will be our first time staying on site.

We will be celebrating our 15th anniversary and DH 50th birthday! We had planned on going away just the 2 of us, but we had such a great time last year at Disney that we just had to book again and just couldn't leave the kids behind!

We booked back in October 2010 for All Star Music because we wanted to be in the center of the action for Cheerleading Worlds. I was paying rack rate which was still very expensive for a value resort ($175 inc. tax)! When the public codes came out the other day, I called to apply the code but was unable to do so at any of the All-Stars, BUT was able to apply it to Pop Century which brought the price down to $133 inc. tax. We are used to going during off-season and paying ALOT less!

Anyway, we will be at POP Century 4/28-5/2!

I am not sure if this has been asked...but how does Spring look for April? Are there a lot of schools having spring break in April this year, or are most of them in March?

Hi..guys! I am an orginal Marcher, but due to DH's work we are now booked from 4/9-4/15 at All Star Movies. You can read my PTR..for more details.

Jenvenza: I am pretty sure most schools spring break are in mid to late March...there may be colleges with a break close to Easter which is April 24th this year.

I am planning my first family vacation to DW!! I am a veteran at Disneyland but this is what I've been waiting for:woohoo: I will be there at the All-Star movie resort with my son and husband on April 12-16.

trying to decide which week would be less crowded april 2-9 or 9-16th, 2011? Or doesn't it make much of a difference? DIDn't realize our plans were so close to easter week so I thought maybe if we pushed back a week it might be better. Also air fare is much cheaper. Help

If you can the first week I would...I am seeing 7 and 8's for crowds the week I am going to be there the 9-15th..I havent checked the first week because it wasnt an option for us, but it cant be any worse and I would think would be a little bit better.

WOOHOO! We just booked for the 22-1 Of April. We go to Dl all the time but this s a first for my whole entire family. It will be my mom, grandma, me (16), and little sister 7. We are staying at the Animal Kingdom villas. Our DVC home resort! We have no idea where to even begin planning!

What a surprise!! My fiance just surprised me with a trip to the World for my birthday! :lovestruc

So happy! We will be going April 10(my birthday)-14 for a short trip. He told me so early because he's not very good with planning and making dining reservations, lol. We will be staying at POP.

We have a big trip in August, so this was definitely not expected.

My happy dance has been slightly squashed. :(
I just booked a surprise trip for my family for April 8-14. Dh doesn't even know about it. Unfortunately, the airline tickets I hinged my whole dates and trip around skyrocketed AS I WAS CHECKING OUT. They went from $82 each way in my cart to $149 each way. I was almost sick. I called SW and asked, "what the heck???" The lady was so sympathetic. She asked the manager and they couldn't/wouldn't do anything. 5 tickets. Sigh...praying that fares go down or I will have to cancel our trip. It's the only time we can go before this new little one is born in June. I'm hopeful though. I'll keep checking. :) We are staying at POP. We've never been to this resort before and I know the kids will love it. I plan to tell dh a couple days before we leave, and the kids I will tell on the way to the airport. :goodvibes

April here we come:cheer2: We will be there from April 2nd-9th (Spring break for Ga), I love going to WDW in April the weather perfect and the crowds are manageable, plus I love the Epcot flower show:flower3:

Happy dance!!! My airlines tickets dropped to $69 each way and I saved $200 more than the tickets I had lost. :woohoo: Sooooo...I did what any good Disney fan would do...and I added a night to our trip. So, we'll be at POP April 6th-13th. :goodvibes

Glad to hear it all worked out for you. :) We are driving for this trip, but I am definitely more of a fan of flying when you are more than 1000 miles away from the world, lol. Though, we are saving some crucial cash this way.

Congrats on the extra day! :woohoo:

We are confirmed and I hope I have made the last changes to our resi. I am always changing my mind of what resort I want to stay at and Disney makes it so easy to change!

So this will be a repeat of last year we will be going to celebrate my birthday. My girls 10, and 7, will be surprised the morning we park at the airport and see Grandma with her bags and ours!

I loved the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival last year and can't wait to enjoy it again.

So we are staying at Wilderness Lodge got 42% annual pass discount. We are going to have the DX DDP for this trip, my mother and DD are both Gluten Free and I am nervous to have to many CS and feel that they will have more selection with TS. We have been able to get all the ADR's that we wanted. Surprised I would have thought this close and how busy it sounds like it may be that it would be harder.

So I guess crowds of 7-8 are gonna be nothing compared to the 10's and park closing days during Christmas, so bring it on.

I have enjoyed reading all of the upcoming trips and cant wait to hear more details. :woohoo:

65 more days until we leave for our April 2011 trip! I'm thinking of starting to work on my packing list already! :woohoo:

Another 15 inches of snow in the N. East! :worship: I will be dreaming of our April vaction as I shovel. April can't come soon enough :yay:

We just booked today! :) I had to put the How I Met Your Mother reference in my ticker, haha.

We're staying POFQ from April 3-10th, we're so excited! It's just my mom and I (I turned 17 last week), and I have a really light course load this coming semester, so we went for it! :)

Can I join in the fun?

I just booked a vacation for my husband's birthday. He has no clue, and I hope he likes it. He really wanted to do a Disney cruise (we've never been on a cruise), but there were no dates that would work for our daughter's spring break. He just wants a REAL family vacation because we'be been married for 11 years and never have, so we (my 6-year-old and I) picked the Polynesian for its laid-back, beachy feel--just his style. She was swayed by the pool.

The best part is that I booked yesterday (while it was snowing, snowing, snowing here in Utah). While I did that, he went to lunch with some guys from work and had Chinese. His fortune (I kid you not said, "You will go on vacation.) Boy, was it hard to keep my mouth shut when he showed me the slip of paper. It's nice to be able to have some others to talk about it to, well, until his birthday in two weeks--jeesh! That's a long time.

We'll be there from the 11th to the 16th, and I have no clue what we'll do beyond that. Gotta start plannin'!
