We've been twice in February (over Presidents' Day both times) and twice at Easter. Easter is busy, but the weather is nicer (although we got one really cold windy day last year and there was one morning we were at Typhoon Lagoon that I could have done with being warmer, but we had fun anyway). Honestly, for a Brit, anything over 70 is a bonus LOL.
We always seem to end up leaving the Easter weekend and it does get appreciably busier towards Easter itself. We get there for rope drop, use fastpasses and use EMHs where it makes sense for us. So we did end up in MK for 7am Good Friday 2009, but by about 11am it was time to bail out - it was insane! The sun wasn't even up when we arrived in MK! Luckily the tickets sold in the UK have hoppers as standard, so we can bounce around the parks as it suits us.
Last time over I bought Ridemax too. We actually only really used it for one day, as the other days it pretty much told me to do what I would have done anyway. The day we used it was our main MK day, and I was like

at some of the things it told us to do but it worked and we ended up ahead of schedule, so we slotted in a couple of extra rides over what I'd plugged into it. I was pretty impressed actually, as I consider myself pretty experienced at planning Disney route marches (we are definitely commando park tourers!), but the Ridemax one was really very good.
DH was laughing at the amount of prep I put into our trip a couple of times ago, but a couple of days in he turned to me and said he could now see why I was making us all get up for rope drop every day, and since then DD and he just assume that mum will make the plan and everyone will follow it! They do get input though - DD wants Coral Reef, Ohana and Hard Rock Cafe and DH wants 50s Prime Time Cafe, so they will get scheduled in.
Still obsessively reading everything - thinking we will need to try Outback Steakhouse as DD loves her steak and its a bit of a luxury item over here, so she eats it at every opportunity in the US.
