Had a room only at POP with AAA discount for 8 nights. Called for the Disney Visa package and save almost twice what AAA discount was. I planned on getting the Hopper and Water parks so this worked out great.

edit: That was with 3 tickets.

I have been obsessed, wondering and waiting to see if a code would come out for April. I just read that a code was coming out today and our local news has been teasing with a deal that they are announcing tonight on the 6:00 news. Anyway, I just went to the disney.ca website and the ticket upgrade was right there! There are some exclusions, which include our dates, but when I was called I was put on hold for quite a while and then she came back with a $401 savings. (We're there 10 days, 9 nights - Me, DH, DS (14) and DD (11).

Here's what the website says...

Also, do we need a valid Disney Visa Card or is booking via CAA/AAA or being canadian angel: ) is enough to get the discount?

I went disney.ca and put in my dates 4-5 to 4-13 and got the same quote as I got with my Disney Visa. The offer is on the bottom of the page where it scrolls through offers. HTH

That was without Visa CAA or AAA.

This is the number I called. (407) 939-7675. I'm not sure if that's different than the number US residents use, but if so, maybe try that. I already had a reservation so she would have seen my canadian address. There is a code listed right on the disney.ca website Promotional code - ALG. (I won't get in trouble for that because it's public, right?")

I just said I heard there was a ticket upgrade available and could I apply it to my reservation. After being on hold for what felt like forever she said "here's your new total!" Hearing I would save $400, when I had accepted the fact that we would probably be paying full price, I let out a squeal that made her laugh.

I just went back to the website and I don't see anything at all about it being a canadian discount, so I would definitely give it a shot. Good luck!

Yippee! I love these boards! I saved 150.00 using the visa code. If it weren't for all of you I won't even know that promotion was going on! A note to Jeni16, I booked a package in Nov. and used my Disney rewards card for the down payment. When I called to use the visa code today I was told I would need to put a down payment using my Visa card. I was able to keep my existing reservation and the previous down payment was put toward the balance. So my advice to Jeni16 is don't give up hope and give them a call!

My AAA agent is not in until Wednesday, grrrrrrr, I hope there are still rooms available. I have a reservation, but I would love to have the Park Hoppers at no extra cost. Guess we have to wait and see.

Thanks so much for the heads up on the ticket upgrade code! I originally had a room only ressie with a AAA rate. I planned on getting park hopper tickets from UT. I booked a room/ticket package with the Disney Visa code and ended up paying $10 more total and got the water park plus option, too. The kids have been dying to try BB and TL so for $10 more than I was going to originally pay, how could I say no? Plus now, on our last day, we'll head over to Disney Quest. Thanks again!

It does have to be a Disney Visa. But don't lose heart, I read on another thread that it will open to the public on 2/21/08.

I called 3 times today with no luck! Each time I was place on hold, but could not get the code applied to me. POFQ, where we are staying was not included. Moving to AKL would have cost me $800 and moving to CBR - where there is no main pool open during our stay - only saved me $200. Since we don't want the Water parks and more anyway, I am staying put. Where are you guys all staying? I did not want to move to any of the value resorts.

Guess I will try again tomorrow.
