I'm going to add my name to this thread - We're considering an April trip. I've never been to Disney on my birthday, which is 4/2. It's usually during the peak season but apparently Easter is early next year so 3/31 starts the regular season rates. I'm thinking about 3/31-4/6. Not sure. We'll see what comes up. I might go ahead and book and start making payments.

We were going to try to hold off until October before going again. I don't know if I can stand it. We've never been to the Food & Wine or MSNSSHP. So I'm thinking one of the trips can be shorter, maybe the April one. I dunno. Here's hoping for a nice big fat code!

We are thinking about changing our cruise for april vacation to 2009 and doing our vow renewal on the magic vs WDW.

I have one question for those of you that have gone at school vacation time, how bad is it really???

This is our first trip at school vacation time...we usually try and stay away at that time!!

I would find out when Easter is in 2009. If it is during your week, then you need to make plans as soon as dates are released.

We are going to WDW in 2008 april, 2009 december on magic. we are currently booked n the magic for april vacation 08, but want to change and go to WDW. We have gone all other times of year, except feb and april vacations. We have gone during my college spring breaks, christmases..but mostly before christmas (unless you count when I was a kid). Memorial day, sept....but I haven't been for april before (that I can remember) so I just don't know how bad it is..

Ok, I'm booked...I'm great w/the rate that I have (with dining) but hey if they offer any package discounts after the fact...it's even better.

By the time I cancel my DCL reservation and get my downpayment back and I cancelled my 2 nights at allstar sports. I'm only going to owe approx $600 for my trip w/dining. I got 1 day base ticket as we already have them, so I could do dining.

This is the first time we are going to do the dining plan. I was able to get the 2 reservations I wanted, one I had to get lunch instead of dinner, due to 8pm for dinner being too late. This is making me feel better, I was worried I'd have a hard time getting adr's.

Just decided to go 3/31/08-4/4/08 We have decided to take TAX $$$ and go to our favorite place. We are taking LO 10 months so this will be a combo 1st anniversery(03/17) and LO's 1st birthday trip (05/14). I am going to wait to book until our tax $$$ comes in. I hope we will be okay!

I can't believe it! My DH just booked flights on spirit for a real low price for April 7-10 - ok just 3 nights but I'm still jumping on the wagon and hoping for some good rates or codes!

TiggerStac I live in MA too and from all of the info I have gotten here on the DIS it is good news that we have a different vacation week in April than most of the rest of the country. Some of CT, NY, NH and a few other New England states have the same week as us - is it Presidents Week I think. My son and I have gone April vacation for the past few years and have had a blast, not too crowded. I see you booked your trip. Good for you! Have an awesome time!

Joining. We were planning on going for the entire week of Spring Break but it looks like we'll be visiting my grandfather a bit farther south and then coming up to WDW from 4/15-21. I'm hoping for a good rate, maybe an AP rate, so that we can go back for a few days in August too.

i am new to the boards..its my first night and i am soooo excited to have found this website!!....my parents and i are planning on a disney trip in april for spring break so i have been checking out "inside tips" for gtting the best possible tri to disney. I keep seeing all these posts about codes and whatnot..where do you get these codes? is there a website ? i have the disney credit card as well. if anyone can help i would appreciate it!!!
