Is there a April 2008 code watch thread? **This seems to be it!!

We're planning on April 5 through April 12 which is DD12's Spring Break.

Do you really think there will be a discount for April 2008? I thought there wasn't one for April 2007 and that, in 2006, it was only for AP holders and FL residents. I sure hope I'm wrong!

In April of 2007 they gave away the hoppers, water parks and more options for no charge. We didn't use it because we would have lost our AAA discount. We don't really use hoppers anyway and the kids didn't want to go to the water parks so it really wasn't worth it to us.

That's right. I forgot about that promotion. Something is better than nothing and we always hop and go to the water parks. Thanks.

I Did it!! We are official booked at POR, April 18-26!! I booked trough AAA and I am saving over $200 than if i was going through a travel agent. I didn't book the meal plan yet. I am still trying to decide if it will be worhth it.

Thinking about going March 29 - April 4. This week is marked as a wonderful week of Disney. Do they usually have special discounts for those weeks? It will be our 25th anniversary and we would like to be able to stay at one of the Deluxes but, if there are no codes we may have to go with a value. Also, hoping most of the Spring Breakers have already gone back to school. I know that our Spring Break is the starts on Good Friday and runs through the end of Easter week.

It's on the homepage of the disney site, under lighter crowds. It is supposed to be weeks that are not as crowded as the rest of the year. As many people as there are that have said they are on Spring Break during this time, I'm surprised that there are any Wonderful Weeks during April.

I understand its a discount code, but where does it come out? We are also planning for April 20. Can you only get AAA prices if you phone WDW?

AAA can be had at any time if they are available, just have your agent ask for you or call WDW and ask. You do need to be a AAA member though. The codes we are all waiting for are discounts that Disney offers for AP holders, Disney Visa holders and FL residents. After that they sometimes will have a general public code as well.

Just found out my boss will be on vacation in April....so would be a great time to add a long weekend trip. Would be interested in codes April 16 thru 20th.

We are planning on leaving NY (we are driving!!) on April 16th and taking the kids out of school fo 2 days, our spring break is April 21-25, we will start our return drive back on April 26. From what I have been reading, not too many schools have off this week. Any one hear anything different?

As for AAA discounts, I tried getting one for a Theme Park View at the GF and there were no AAA rates left for that week. I'm thinking of just booking - Once you book and a better rate comes out, you can call up and get the rate or the discount, right?

Our schools in CT spring break is April 12 - 19th. We are planning a trip Apr 12 - 14th at BWI and then heading to Vero beach for the rest of the week. Have already booked the week at VB, but decided that we wanted a little WDW fix and need to book the 2 nights. Hoping for a code.

I'm planning to take my son on a Mommy-and-me trip for his 5th birthday (April 27). When I did the same for DD's 5th birthday, we snagged a PIN postcard rate. Here's hoping for a similar lucky break -- or a terrific general public code!

We just once again switched our vacation because it collided with another persons in my department with more seniority so I am hoping for some good general public codes also for 3/30-4./05/08!!! It is also listed as a wonderful week of Disney! I hope they are correct!!!

We will be there April 20 - 27. I booked the weekend at POP today. I have to wait for Thursday to try for AKV or BWV. If nothing else we should be able to get OKW. I am really hoping for AKV though! We are DVC members and have never been in April. Also never stayed at a value. It should be an interesting trip.
