that can't walk past the baby section of any store without buying something?

I can't go past a Carter's, Children's Place, Baby Gap, Babies R Us, or any other store that sells baby clothes without going in. It's like a drug.:rotfl: The clothes are just too cute! And, I can't believe the prices when there are sales going on. You can buy so much for so little.

Carter's and The Children's Place Outlet, in particular, seem to have great prices on their clothes. I'm a sucker for the summer items, especially the little swim trunks and rashguards. Anything with sea creatures on it!

Oh, and the little sleeveless jerseys, and one piece rompers, and polo shirts, and...I think I need an intervention program.:lmao:

I don't see a problem!;)

From one grandma to another,

You sound just like my mum who never comes empty handed when she sees us (usually every 1-2 weeks).

Keep up the great work, us kids don't mind it :lmao:

LOL, I know exactly what you mean! And now that I have been frequenting the budget board and seeing what people buy with coupons for pennies on the dollar or free with them, I am in bigger trouble!

Along with the three years worth of clothes, books, toys, t-shirts for every holiday, disney shirts and socks, etc they now have one years worth of toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair pieces and butt cream.

I think my dd's and ddil hate when I come over. They have mentioned they have no more room for 'stuff'. And since I have to bring a treat because who gets a toothbrush to use without getting a treat BEFORE you brush and rinse I have been banned from snacks/treats too.

Thats o.k. they know where to come. Last week my 3 1/2 grandson called to tell me he was in trouble and could he come live with me! I found out later he had called his aunt and asked her to please find his grandmother for him so he could talk to me. He is 4 going on 30. Can we say payback for good ole dd? :rotfl::rotfl:

I feel your pain luvflorida and my heart goes out to you and all the many loving Gma's :goodvibes. When you find that 12 step program, let us know ;)!! Your little Carter gets cuter with each passing day, if that's possible! :lovestruc

As a Nana of 13 blessings, soon as I learned our girls were expecting, my greatest hobby was browsing the baby sections! Not too mention keeping an xtra set of all baby equipment here :goodvibes! Now that they are older, I keep an xtra set of Johnson baby powder and lotion to get my fix!?!?!

Our out of state son and family will visit us in July and I'm so excited we'll get to spend a week with our youngest 3yo prince and 1yo lil princess grands :cloud9:. Needless to say, I'm already stock piling! ;)

Sound to me like you are doing what the perfect grandma is supposed to do!
Your grandson is beautiful! Enjoy him! :)

You can't help yourself until you are ready and most Gmas never are! My mom should have a special parking spot at Kohl's!:rotfl2:She spoils my dcs-she's coming over tonight to buy them a swingset!

Aw, thanks! Carter is the love of our lives.:lovestruc 13 grands!:lovestruc You are a pro in the gramma club! I know what you mean about the equipment, too. I couldn't wait to go out and buy duplicate items for our house. Just want to add- I love the photos you have in your signature!:)

Thank you! We are enjoying every second we get to spend with him!

So true!:lmao:

He's a lucky guy to have you!

I think it's very very sweet.

My mom- not much of a shopper for the kids at all. In fact I can't recall anything clothing wise that she has ever bought any of them. I do have some great things from my Aunt though. She was like the "step grandma" to my children. I miss her.

Oh, I hear you!!!! I have a special little spot in my closet with the little hangars just to keep my purchases.....It is definately an addiction, but I suppose we could have worse things to be addicted to!
Do you find you almost get embarrassed when you show up with yet another bag full of clothes....most of the time, I get them as bargains, but sometimes they are just too cute to pass up even if they are not!
I know that the parents appreciate it all, but sometimes I get that "she will never even be able to wear all of the things she has"! Too bad........such problems to have!!!!!
I still can't help myself, and yes, I did have to go out and buy highchair, etc. for my house too......one to match my kitchen perfectly!!!!!
So much fun!!! Everything everyone has ever said about how wonderful it is to be Grandma is so absolutely true, isn't it!!!!!!

My granddaughters aren't even here yet and I'm already part of the club much to my DH's dismay! :rotfl:

We found another Carters store that was sort of tucked away that I didn't really pay any mind to before when I didn't have babies to shop for. But we all ended up there on Friday 'just to look' and ended up spending way more money than I inteded to for just looking but man oh man those clothes are simply adorable and the sales were amazing!

I've been put on baby buying grounding though til after the shower so I can buy the sizes/seasons they're going to need if I see something instead of just because it's so darn cute. :lovestruc

Are you my mom? ;) She's a Marshalls and TJMAX addict, and my kids reap the rewards. And now that they're older, she'll actually take them shopping for clothes (she knows not to pick up stuff for dd12). Honestly, she buys most of their clothing, and even if it's not what I would've chosen, it's free for me, and she loves doing it. My kids don't even ask me to take them shopping, they ask grandma! :cool1:
