Caskbill... the new tracker looks great! If you cancel the reservation inthe example will it put the pioints back into their home resorts??
Yes. It will also assign a status to the points as being Regular, Banked, Borrowed, Holding, or Reservation, all depending on the origin of the points, the type of reservation made, and the date of cancellation. Thus if you cancel a non-
DVC reservation at any time, the points become Reservation Status and the program will not allow you to later use those points to make a DVC reservation. If you cancel a DVC-Reservation at less than 31 days out, the points are classified as Holding, and certain restrictions apply. If you cancel a DVC-Reservation originally made with Banked or Borrowed points, those points are returned to the Use Year they were banked or borrowed into, and maintain their Banked/Borrowed status.

One feature for both Dave and Bill would be to provide for the sale of a contract. For example someone buys a master and then adds-on and sells the master. There are variations on this. But it would be nice to be able to retain the history when you sell.
DVC-Tracker has this ability, including recording items such as sale date, sale prices received, fees paid, comments, etc. Also, you will still be able to review all historical information for that original purchase and all point usages, banking, reservations, etc that were used for that contract while you had it. If only part of a contract is sold such as the original master, or one of the Add-On's, the program will keep the remaining unsold parts active so you can still use those points for new transactions.
