the good news I got a new job in my new area the bad news is I often lose track of dates so is their a app that can say last day of summer vacation with out looking at anything a alarm preferably

Are you looking for a countdown app? I use T-0 for my ipad and iphone, it was easy to figure out.

Yes, the Calendar app that comes with your phone will do this for you. Just create an event for that day (use the plus button at the top of the screen).

Type in a name for your event, and pick the date. You can put in a time, too, if you want to. Then press Alert, a little further down the screen, and pick how far in advance you want to be notified. You can even set two alerts, if, say, you want to be reminded a week before, and a day before.

It'll beep at you and a message will pop up on your screen when the time comes.

Yes I am more settled in and loving it my new job is do close that dh can take me on the bike so I don't have to worry about transportation
