Is their a minimum night stay for New Years?

We are in the planning stages of our 2003 Holiday trip, and wanted to spend some time at WDW and spend New years eve at Citywalk. Can we stay one night at one of the Universal hotels, or is their a minimum number of nights during that time???

When we were there last year, we were told we could stay one night, but that was New Years Day, not eve.

good to see you post on the board again.
there are going to be a few of us that post on this board meeting some time around new years so watch the board and see if the meet time and place fit your schedule

It is great to see you on the boards again.

When we went..we had room only, one night...New Years Eve.

Looks like we aren't going to make the party again this year...our daughter enlisted in the Air Force, we leave New Years day for TX for her graduation.

Hi everyone

Sorry it took me so long to respond your replies! I am happy to be back on the boards, however, although we are planning to visit IOA next year, WDW will be our main focus, especially since my husband has never visited Disney.

I will be writing a trip report, with my personal opinions and compare WDW to US and IOA.
