I have noticed, particularly on HGTV when they are redesigning a living room, a bed room, a kitchen, etc, etc that the word "room" has seemed to be replaced with the ubiquitous word "The Space". This seems like a reasonable substitute perhaps once or twice during the show for added variety, however, it has seemed to have totally replaced the word room and its beginning to get annoying.

I've never noticed that before, but I must say that I feel the same way about the term "window treatments." What's up with that!?!? They are blinds, curtains or drapes, not *window treatments*! How high-falutin'! ;)

Oh man, I use "window treatments" as a phrase commonly. Sorry, I never thought I was snobby or anything :rolleyes1 :teeth:
