Is the Whispering Canyon *fun* at lunch too??

We've eaten dinner here a few times and really enjoyed the fun. But I can't get a ressie for dinner during our trip but I can get lunch. Is it the same??

I don't know about lunch, but when we were there they told us if you get there right before they open for dinner at 5PM that you can be seated in their open seating area. We got there about 20 minutes before it was open and it was kind of fun to be there for the dinner bell and "holler"!

I am wondering the same things too. We already have lunch ADR's made for Whispering Canyon in June.

Last May we went for lunch 12:30 ressies and nothing was done. We arrived at about 12:15 and left at about 1:30 and during that time nothing happened. I was so disappointed, so this year I made adr's for dinner.

Yes it is!! We went right at lunch opening in December and had a blast!

We are a party of 12 so I don't think we can just show up at the restaurant and hope to get seated together.

I think I'll keep trying for a dinner ressie--I still have 4 weeks to go.

On our last trip this past Dec we did both a dinner and a lunch at WCC.

The dinner was a BLAST!!! the lunch was ok... but that was all on our SERVER.

There were rowdy servers during our lunch, but ours looked like she didn't want to be there at all... it was a bummer because we had already experienced the dinner and expected so much more.

They were rowdy and fun when we went there for lunch. It was great.

There were very few people there for lunch when we went - only about 20 diners in the whole place, but the staff still made a big effort, and we even got a magical moment certificate for participating in animal calls with the "vet". Lots of fun - we liked that it wasn't so noisy as dinner. I will say that the experience you get does depend on your server.

okay - you have got my curiousity up. What exactly happensdurin gthe meal? It sound like many of your had a good time. I am looking for dining on our christmas trip. Thanks!!!

We often lunch at WCC. Sometimes it's loud and rowdy, and sometimes it's not. I've yet to see a pattern. However, the food and service is always good.
