Is the week of Dec 15 a good week for low crowds?

I was leaving on Dec 22 to go till Jan 2. We have been 3 different years at Christmas but the crowds are getting worse every year. Now with the changes to Fast pass it will make the crowds harder to deal with.

I would like to change my trip to Dec 16 to Dec 28 wondering if crowds are low so I can enjoy the parks before the Christmas spike

Dec. 16-19 Somewhat low to moderate.

Dec. 20-23 Higher

Dec. 24-28 Very High.

Walked on many rides before noon or 1pm that week before the mad rush. Not a major worry.

Based on recent experience, for the major rides 70 to 90 minute standby waits will be the norm

Good enjoy one crowd free week before all hell breaks loose. Get on lots of rides with minimal wait. Hopefully by the 2nd week they have increased the number of fastpass + to more than 3 and use at different parks

We were there Dec 18 - 22 two years ago....first few days were moderate crowds, got to see and do everything we wanted...by the 21st it started getting crazy. You may just miss the madness of the holiday crowds coming in on the 15th!

Last two years we have been going week before Xmas. I make sure we check out around 23rd or 24th (before madness). It has been great. We didn't feel any crowds and got to ride everything we wanted. Love that week before Xmas! Have a great time.

We were there from 7th-28th December just gone. The 1st week wasn't busy and we got on all rides with a max 20 min wait. 2 nd week was a bit busier but still not anything manic ( apart from mk which was always the busiest !!! ) Christmas week was HECTIC !! Hectic but magical....Christmas day in mk was packed but we knew that before we went. Being there for the parade was amazing and I'd do it all again !!!!!

Weve been there 3 times at Christmas and know all about the Christmas crowds. We always get there around the 23th. My main concern we always were able to do whatever we wanted and got on what ever we wanted. I was really goo with the old fast pas system.

Changing my weeks because with the current fast pass+ cant ensure changes will be change to improve it by the time we go so for the money we are spending once again. I can have small waits in the SB lines and still park hop the week of Dec 15

we went dec 14-21st 2013 and the parks were very light on traffic.

we used FP effectively, but i dont think we waited more than 20min for any ride the entire time, and did all 4 parks.
