I will be going to BLT and have made ADR for the wave. Is it worth it to spend a hour or 90 minutes to good? Is the food goo?

Hi Buffalobills23 (can't remember whose jersey that is!)
We had my birthday dinner there last Nov. Both dh and I enjoyed our meal. Our waitress was great, loved the bread...not everyone does. We both had steak and had no complaints with our meal, the service or the restaurant.

OMG it is totally worth it! You get a signature experience for a lot less and the food is amazing

I'm excited to hear the answers on this thread! I'd originally booked Whispering Canyon but my friend raved about the Wave so much that I changed it. And if MickeyNicki says that it's good, then it must be! :thumbsup2 I can't wait!

We've eaten there twice and BOTH times we had AMAZING service and the food was VERY good. One of our favorite TS meals!:thumbsup2

It is a million times better than WCC!

Get the citrus avocado salad...it is incredible! I make it at home all the time.

If I am going to have a sit down meal (especially at WDW prices) I fully expect (want) it to last at least 90 minutes. I love time relaxing while enjoying a slow paced meal, sipping cocktails and enjoying the company of my dining companions.

Any WDW restaurant will GLADLY speed up your meal if you are in a hurry, since it means they will turn the table quicker, which means more tips for the server. If you are in a hurry, let your server know of your time constraints and I am sure they will meet your criteria.

Huge upgrade there! Hope you love it. The restaurant has improved quite a bit, and if you can get back there, they have one of the best breakfasts on property!

Went there the first week the restaurant was open, was not to impressed, but heard alot of positives since then. Guess it was a rough opening, would definately want to try it again sometime in the future

We eat there last year, we had 7 people with us and 3 of us liked our meals ok, so none of us would really go back.

We ate there our last trip and it was O.K. I'm not making a special tirp to the Contemporary just to eat there, but if I were staying there I would definately go. The food was good, the restraunt was nice, service was great. It's just not that great.

I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner at The Wave and would recommend any meal there. Delicious and fresh. My only warning is, if your child does not like paper straws, smuggle a plastic one in and then take it with you when you go- the servers get in trouble if they are left behind.

WCC was, in a word, gross for dinner. Even the kids thought so.

Am looking to book at WCC...what was gross about it? (just curious!)

We had breakfast there during our trip last fall and it was very good. Not cheap though.

I love The Wave! It is quite possibly the best meal I've ever had at WDW.

Went to the Wave last August with my sister and her family. We all enjoyed it. The decor will not knock your socks off, but the food makes it one of the better non-signature restaurants in the World. And I thought the dessert was the best of that trip. We will certainly be going back some time.

We LOVE the Wave! We have eaten there several times, and each time the food was fantastic. Signature quality food and non-signature prices. The scallops appetizer and the sustainable fish with edamame stew entree were outstanding. Absolutely recommend the Wave!
