Is the waterview at Boardwalk Inn worth it , or is standard view o.k?

We have always wanted to stay there and finally next fall we will be able to. What is everyone's room preference there???

Many of the standard views look over the main entrance parking/check-in area....can be quite noisy. Personally, I would choose the waterview....ask for a water view that overlooks the lake, as you may get a pool view. There is nothing nicer than standing on your balcony, looking over the boardwalk at night people watching and enjoying a nice glass of wine!

I agree. We stayed in a lake view room during our honeymoon (the room right over the "Eat Here Tonite" awning) and we loved it!

We had our wedding reception at Atlantic Dance Hall... So I liked to gaze at it for hours.

It was also fun being able to watch the people walk by below, and to be able to tell when the Italian Ice cart opened.
