Is the walk to MK worth it?

I think I might just find a bench, have a seat, watch the crowds leave...and then leave the park. This might be a way to save my feet, even for just a little bit, still ride the monorail, and not be overwhelmed in a crowd. Also I heard there is a cool thing that happens at the end of the night called a kiss goodnight...maybe stay on main street till that, then mosey on over to the monorail. We are still going to do the split stay.
I stayed at the contemporary In the 80s and loved it. it’s theming is dated..but that is part of the the theming imho. (Hubby disagrees and says it needs an update.)

Thank you all for taking the time to share your experiences and opinions, it’s greatly appreciated.

Lots to think about...

The last time I stayed at The Poly, it was a nightmare trying to get back there after HEA. The boats were crazy and the monorail line snaked all the way down and did loops…insane. I ended up walking to The CR and hopping on the monorail from there and I couldn't help but think…if I was staying at BLT, I'd be home already.

I do love the theming at The Poly, and we actually own DVC at both BLT and PV, but with little kids, I think you'll be so much happier at BLT.
