Nope, they will give you a sugested tip of 18% or 20% already figured out. When they come back and see your room key they always asked if we were going to charge to the room. We told them no we were tipping cash. I prefer tipping cash that way I can tip as I feel is needed. I never put charging privlages on my room key.

I never carry more than about $10 cash on me, charging to the room is a much safer choice in my opinion and you can still tip what you want, you simply write it in.
I hear that the new plan doesn't include the tip but when I looked at the description on allearsnet.com , it described the plan as not including an appetizer for dinner either. Is this true? If it is, then the plan is not really worth it. Could someone let me know for sure? Thanks! Elisa

The Deluxe Disney Dining Plan DxDDP ($69.99/$19.99 per night) DOES include an appetizer for Lunch and Dinner at TS locations. Is the tip the same if you have less than four people in your party? And it seems kind of steep for buffets where all the waiter does is bring you drinks and clear the used plates away. If there's anything else we want, we have to get up and get it ourselves!
